we were on the verge of eating here today but very glad we decided against it. the waitresses seemed clueless and the supervisor in the restaurant was more interested in giving them a hard time right in front of us than servicing potential customers. to me this stinks of a disregard for training, poor management or both. take yourself a photo of the exterior then find a better pub nearby.

Food was excellent and not expensive, especially for where you are. Beautiful area and 2 minutes from fantastic views of Tower Bridge.

Visited for the first time with family. Most ordered steak which I will say was cooked as requested but presentation, quality etc was nothing special. My sons burger had to be returned as it was the wrong kind so a slight delay. Location is stunning. Although the experience was good do not think it was worth the £185 bill for 6 of us!!!!!! Beware of service charges. We were asked several times if we were celebrating (it was my nephews 21st birthday) but didn't make any difference at all.

We visited the second floor of this fabulous old pub which serves pizza and Tex Mex food. The service was fine and the food was good. My beef burrito was fresh and tasty and quite a sizeable lunch. However, hubby's cannelloni looked a little mean in comparison but he enjoyed it nevertheless.

There are three floors to the pub, the first serving sandwiches and pub food, the second floor which we visited and the third floor grill mentioned here. Apart from the food, what must be mentioned is the lovely setting for lunch or dinner, overlooking the dock, including outside seating on the balconies of each floor.

The prices are reasonable considering the setting and the position in London and I hope to visit again in warmer weather for a pizza and a cool drink.

Thank Lisa O
