Description: Perfect for pre-show meals, Rodizio Rico restaurant at Londons O2 Arena in Greenwich is a bright and buzzy Brazilian churrascaria restaurant famous for its Brazilian steakhouse menu. With modern wood-panelled walls, tiled floors and a humming brasserie-style ambience, Rodizio Rico is a hit with meat-loving locals for non-vegetarian corporate entertaining and cocktails, large parties and family nights out. The menu of Brazilian cuisine offers an all-you-can-eat selection of steaks and seafood alongside a buffet-style salad bar. Favourite dishes include the garlic sausages, rump steak, spare ribs and the grilled chicken and pork served at the table on giant sticky skewers. The wine list veers toward big, butch flavours from Chile and Argentina, with some intriguing labels from South Africa, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. At Rodizio Rico, no craving is too large. Not for the faint-hearted, Rodizio Rico requires a hearty appetite and a drumstick-loving disposition.

“Overpriced and poor quality”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

We have been at Rodizio Rico because we love the Brazilian food and especially cos we always enjoyed the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere the other Brazilian restaurants had. Unfortunately this restaurant has nothing to do with others.
Starting about the staff, we reserved for 7pm but we arrived a little bit earlier and the lady wasn't very pleased about that, being absolutely not welcoming. We could just wait at the bar, but seemed like arriving before bothered her.
The atmosphere was as cold and static as the decorations of the place, including the rude waiter whom served us.
Food... £25 all you can eat is a good formula, but we weren't really impressed by the quality of the meat proposed and the buffet wasn't that various. At the end, the choice of dessert was a sad trolley with three plates covered by cling film.
Considering the final price (£25 each plus drinks), the poor service and the low quality of the food, we will definitely going back to other Brazilian restaurants were quality and a smile are assured!

“Meatfest.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

For the carnivores. If beef is your thing its a good place to be. As in previous reviews since our last visit the meat does seem saltier and the drinks more expensive.
Our first visit here some time ago saw us eat downstairs which we much prefer to eating upstairs which is noisier. Staff are efficient but because of the noise it was difficult to hear what was being offered sometimes and we were seated in the quietest part.
The central buffet table has everything from chips to Mousaka and the waiters come constantly with meat on massive skewers. Well done one side and rarer on the other. Dont bother with dessert , it comes offered on a trolley with some of it covered in cling film !

“rodizio rico @ o2”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013

We visited here while my daughters attended a concert and were looking forward to trying it as we have tried a few other rodizios .How disappointing it turned out to be.The restaurant looked like a cheap cafe,it had no atmosphere at all.The cuts of meat that were on offer were very poor quality, they were very fatty and the poorest quality of meats. The waiters kept bringing the same cuts of meat again and again. After about 40 mins we had had enough and asked for the bill, they then asked us if we would like a dessert and we said no,but the next thing a waitress wheeled over this trolley with some desserts covered in cling film that had obviously been sitting for some time,we declined. At £25 a head i think this is way overpriced for what you get.Needless to say i would not recommend this restaurant.

“Overpriced, poor service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

Came here ahead of a show at the O2, the restaurant wasn't especially busy at the time and it took ages for anyone to come over and explain the set up - most of the staff were standing at the back talking and looked put out to come and have to serve anybody.

When they did start serving, the first few cuts of meat were very nice, but they kept bringing the same three things round the area we were in, while we could see various things we hadn't been offered being served elsewhere - we kept asking for them and when they did start bringing them over, they started at the other end of the section we were sat in, which had now filled up, so ran out by the time they reached us. It took over an hour for something we hadn't already had to be offered to us, which is very poor.

On top of that, it was very expensive - certainly overpriced for what it was - and combined with the poor service, I would not recommend visiting here

“Indoor BBQ”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

Having eaten here previously I was keen to take some friends to repeat the experience. Sadly it was not what I remembered from a couple of years ago. The options are meat or veggie - at £25 for all you can eat; you soon tire of poorer/dry cuts of meat being offered. The salad bar was slow to be replenished but did offer some interesting options. Downstairs had less atmosphere than upstairs where there was live music playing.

Don't get me wrong - we all left full but not particularly good value for money. We killed a few hours waiting for the concert to kick out so it served its purpose but would not be first choice when visiting the O2.
