We got the tickets online and did not know if everything was going to work the way the website said, but it went very well. Pick up on time, arrival on time and a fun and nice guide (Annie). Stonehenge is magical, but don't be fooled, the 45 minutes stop may seem like a long time, but it flies! We couldn't even finish our audio guide. Bath is an amazingly beautiful city. Too bad we got A LOT of traffic on our way back. The one hour trip back to London became a long 2h30 hour journey (nobody's fault, though). It was a great day!

We just returned to the U.S.A. from London and went on the Anderson Travel daily motor coach tour of Stonehenge and Bath...which is a beautiful city. It had been recommended to us and we really enjoyed Bruce our driver and the entire day was great. Annie our tour leader was very friendly and interesting as well. We would highly recommend Anderson Travel as it was a great time and a super value! Rodd

Ventured on this Anderson tour with 21 year old a daughter and 80 year old mother on October 19, 2013.. Tour guide was Ross and coach driver Adi.
Kindness, attention to detail and knowledge of sites. Truly a memorable and outstanding part of our travels to UK.
Ross was particularly attentive to mother which made this so much more enjoyable for me!

My friend was visiting from abroad and only had a couple of days. She wanted to see Stonehenge and visit Glastonbury village. The latter is difficult enough to get to: 2.5 hour train to Bristol and then 1.5 hours on a bus.

So this one-day trip with Anderson Tours was perfect. It was on a small bus. The tour guide, Ross, was very helpful and informative.

Would definitely book another tour with this company in the future.

However, Stonehenge has become a rip-off tourist attraction. The entry fee is £8 and is supposed to take half an hour, but that's only because they've built a long 'walkway' around the site and it could take a person moving slowly the 30 minutes to walk it.

Loads of work going on in the building of a museum and even bigger shop. So they can charge an even bigger entrance fee?

Me and my husband booked the Stonehenge/Bath tour on our last day in London on the 24/10/13.
The bus arrived on time at our pick up point and we were impressed with the comfort of the seats and that it was not a full bus, allowing us room and space where needed. We were also impressed that the price we paid for the tour included the entrance fees as I did notice that other companies were not offering this. The host/tour operator was very friendly and made us feel very welcoming and comfortable, even telling funny jokes about London on the way to our venues and history of the places we were visiting.
It was great that we were able to roam around the very busy and popular tourist attraction, Stonehenge for up to an hour, to take it all in, take photos, visit the busy gift shop and freshen up and use the toilet facilities before hopping back on the bus. I strongly recommend wearing comfortable footwear to walk around this tourist attraction.
After Stonehenge, we proceeded to Bath. Again, the host/Tour Operator informed us of the history of the place and we learnt things we had not known before. The Roman Baths, were very busy and full of tourists on a Thursday afternoon. There were school kids on their excursion.
Andersons Bus Tours gave us around 2.5 hours to roam freely around Bath and then meet back outside the Pump Room/Roman Baths to organise travel back to London.
Everything in Bath is within walking distance and they provided information on where everything was. I must mention that the only thing I did not like was that the map of Bath provided was very lousy and did not contain all of the streets for visitors to the area. In fact, it was so confusing that we had to ask a café staff member for help with directions on how to get to the Jane Austen Centre on Gay Street.(She recognised the map and said she was very displeased with it as many tourists have asked the same!). I recommend that a better map be provided.
If you are a bit tight with money, I strongly recommend you bring your own lunch on this tour as food and drinks are not provided at all (there is a water tap provided on the bus you travel on).
You will need to make sure you plan what you are going to do in Bath when you get the free time provided. Bring a water bottle too!

The journey back into London was pleasant and the bus driver was ahead of schedule during the busy peak period. He even dropped us off where we wanted.

I am pleased I chose this organisation and look forward to utilising them in the future.
