Called in the Town House for a spot of lunch. Very friendly guy serving and I had some lovely fish and chips, washed down with a smashing pint of Beavertown Gamma Ray. Great pub

Dropped in this venue after a work conference in the area. It looks great, got to file some work reports there while having a beer. Nice atmosphere, nice food and the staff are really nice, especially Malik. Will be back!!

We're local and really loved this place when it reopened - you could see a lot of thought had gone into the design and environment that had been created.

The range of drinks and food are good, and despite the complaints from some other reviewers, the pricing is spot on for the area.

However we have stopped visiting for a simple reason: the music system (which I'm sure must have been very expensive) always seems to be set to sound tinny and is always so loud it forces everyone to shout, which makes it worse. I can understand that late evenings people are looking for a more music-dominated atmosphere, but for after work drinks it's unbearable. The problem seems to be that the staff like a loud and buzzy atmosphere to work in so they keep ramping it up, irrespective of what the customers might want at a given time.

Please fix as we'd love to come back!
