I visited Roux at the Landau at the Langham Hotel for a birthday treat for our daughter and we had the Tasting Menu with wine. The food is, as you would expect, superb both in terms of flavour and presentation and the Tasting Menu gives the opportunity to try things that one might not normally choose. The accompanying wines were well-chosen and delicious too. Mention must be made of the service which is prompt, efficient and courteous - the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the experience is 'special' without being pompous or overly 'posh'. I know nothing of wines but the sommelier explained every choice in an interesting (and brief!) style and I enjoyed every drop! It's expensive (but it's London!) but it's great and well worth it. The restaurant has got it all absolutely right: ambience, food, service - all first class. Save up and go!

My husband and I dined here recently, the restaurant was spacious with nice decor.
The restaurant manager took time to explain the menu to us,we decided to go for the whole chicken baked in a crust. Yes there was a 50 minute delay while they cooked it but we were advised that before ordering. It was worth the wait. It was the best we ever tasted and was expertly carved by the manager Vito.

The service throughout was very attentive, we really enjoyed our first visit and will be back.

This is our regular favourite and we try and eat there once a week. £47.50 for a three course meal with half a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and coffee - so long as you are seated by 7pm. This is currently the BEST value in London. Chic, discreet with a different menu every time we go (and a choice), I am almost loathe to write so glowingly in case it is discovered by more... The staff are kind and attentive and if there are problems they put them right! I like the decor, the tables for two with banquette seating - this is the epitome of a hotel restaurant in the top echelon. The hotel is glamorous and attracts a cocktail clientele so there is a good background buzz.

Went here on the TopTable deal and, whilst the food was delicious, I wouldn't have been particularly if I'd paid full price for it. Good value on TopTable in any case and service was second to none

Very enjoyable lunch with 1st class food and service! The Dinning Room is very stylish and spacious with large tables and comfortable seatings. The Restaurant Manager was very attentive and took his time in making recommedations to us, something that is very rare today! Had we had more time, we would have gone for the Tasting Menu as it look so attractive. We look forward to returning to the Roux. PS. love the bread basket!
