Pradyp is a calm powerful lifelong learner. He's open for every comment, is really motivated to make you have a wonderful stay. For that he offers a fully equiped, central flat with lots privacy for each floor.
There's three rooms up, one down as well as the shared living room. I got to know a family in there, interesting but really nice actually. Of course it's always good for a traveler to stay open-minded and here it's a plus because you may stay with other visitors in the flat. Two bathrooms allow a lot privacy and two entrances also enhance mobility and independancy.
In the kitchen you'll find everything you need in a brandnew quality. If you have luck you can catch a leftover from another visitor, if you don't mind this. ;) Because Pradyp takes care of cleaning also this service is included and it feels comfortable to stay there. For a bigger group or family it's not easy to eat at the table in the kitchen, can be a bit tight I think but then there's ways to get along with that.
The living room is comfortable and TV offers a lot os entertainment for a bad wheater day or an evening after a long day.
There's no balcony but there's a garden. It's really nice to step through it during the holiday.
First, it's quite. Second: it's beautiful. A very big plus for me and I guess for others is the close riverside. From the garden you can see it. It's sooo wonderful to know, you live very central and then it's a lot of green around.
Supermarkets is ok around, there's a market square near by, little shops, but also bigger and restaurants. Google it, that's it.
The riverside is perfect for a walk, cyclists should be slow. I can recommend living in this area and go around with a bike, it's just lovely to go to Tower Bridge, London Tower, Jack the Ripper district.. with it's green parks, churches, riverside-cafés, markets, fast-developing mall and finance district Canary Wharf (the old harbour), the way to Greenwhich.
This EAST LONDON part is also very close to the hip young district including brick lane, the brick lane market, Holborn, SOHO, Shoreditch, Bethnal Green. Very many things to explore. It's starts with 2 streets up and goes around a lot.
The CENTER is so close you only walk 15min to Tower Bridge! Actually the harbour part 'Catherine's dock' is really nice to explore before/after you see Tower of London. Then when you checked this, you continue walking westways and you'll find the Aldgate/Whitechapel/Liverpool Str. .. Very good mixture of different kitchen styles e.g. Japanese kitchen, italian, classic english.. Then also sightseeing (St.Paul's cathedral, art exhibitions, libraries, ministry buidlings), shopping (from expensive to cheaper e.g. TkMaxx), starting a bus tour, enjoying complementing bank district among all the old churches ('Bank'), getting the chatty and positive vibe in central based cafés .. to be continued. ;) You'll find a lot from what you like very very close.
