“Film Heaven”

A small but interesting visit. It is very quiet and not very busy so you can spend as much time as you want. It could do with expanding a little bit but it is quite a sweet and interesting place to visit.

If you have a child that is a Star Wars film well worth a visit took my ten year old son and he loved getting to see items from his favourite films up
Close ,very quiet so you are not rushed about and plenty of toilets everywhere which are free lol

“Lovely Film Nerd Heaven”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

Took my son who is a movie geek and he loved it. I thought it was really good too. Lots to see, I agree the price is a little expensive for what it is, but we came out having really enjoyed ourselves. Fun way to kill a few hours in London and great location.

“Well we enjoyed it”
Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

Interesting mix of reviews, but we actually enjoyed it. Compared to the huge queues for the London Dungeon next door, it was almost empty - which was great for us but must be a bit of a worry for the owners on a busy Saturday in August when you can' move outside. Probably could do with a few more props and costumes, with a large reliance on printed boards and info (especially in the Chaplin room). But lots of good stuff - from the Rank Gong to Mr Bean's suit.

Nothing like as good as the much missed Museum of the Moving Image, which had the advantage of being able to draw on lots of TV artefacts as well. None the less, for real film fans with a soft spot for the golden age of movie making, there is enough here to make it worth the time (if only to get away from the crowds outside).

“poor content”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

I know attractions are expensive in London especially on the South Bank so if I elect to go I expect value for money and an interesting well produced event.
Not so with the London Film Museum. It consisted of poorly maintained old props and no imagination in layout.
Conclusion;;very poor value for money. I should have guessed given the long queues for Dungeon and Aquarium bext door and no one in the Film Museum!!!
