I went here after seeing the rave reviews here and on FourSquare. I went whilst there was some football on the tv so the place was deserted. Whoops, I thought, this could be a mistake...however, I was handed a menu and the food was a slight departure from the usual menu items - so I opted for a lamb roll (spicy) and a bhuna. The owner came in and saw my order and immediately asked if I did indeed want a less spicy dish for my main course...he told me various options I could have - all based on the different massalas - I chose a new base sauce on his recommendations. This sold the place to me - this sort of service is fantastic - the owner having an interest in his customers.
It was only 15 quid, but I left a twenty as I enjoyed the food and the service so much. Full, I wandered back to the hotel which I am about to review...!!
I can highly recommend this little place. For a nice friendly bite, great value for money - BYOB too if you want beer or wine.
