The room was bare bones, but clean. A bed, a couple of lights, and air conditioning. No phone, no other amenities other than a 1-ounce bottle of shampoo/body wash. 24 hours of wifi for 3 pounds is reasonable.

It's tough to find an affordable lodging in central London, and this was super-convenient. A block and a half to the Southwark tube stop, 2 min walk. I'd stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night and booked a early check in and late check out, early check in was available from when we arrived at 11,50 meant to be 12 also have to say the staff here are great, told us everything we needed to know. Breakfast was better than I expected for a weekend where England were playing in the World Cup we expected massive cues for breakfast and a noisy hotel we didn't have any of that. The breakfast area is in the bar area but I found that quite cosy. Room is basic but was clean and comfortable.

Stayed here as company would not pay Park Plazza prices! Surprisingly ok, clean room , shower that worked, air-con perfect (particularly a sticky night!) pre-booked check -in worked & a cooked breakfast.
Easy location for access to London & where I needed to be. Plenty of pubs/restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Would stay again.

Room Tip: If choice exists ask for a room on floor 2.

deffo not the best tlodge I've been in. in fact the worst. But..... receptiinist was good and the guy who sorted out my prepaid meal (eventually) was good. the rest were ropey. The room was basic but clean and though next to rail was quiet.

We stayed 11 nights in May and were given a room facing the railway with a view of the Shard. The noise did not bother us. Staff were very helpful. The room, although sparsely furnished as is customary in a Travelodge, was quite large enough for my family of three. The location is fantastic, 3 minutes from the Tube -- very convenient. There were 3 grocery stores within walking distance as well as many pubs and other places to eat.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the railway and had a lovely view of the Shard.
