“Don't Go Here!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2013

This Indian restaurant was a hole in the wall close to Victoria Station, small with crappy tables and being the only place open on Christmas night 2012, we ordered Fish & Chips and an Indian dish for 52 Pounds - the equivalent of about $83 USD! Avoid this by all means!!

“Awful”

Terrible service, average food, most importantly dishonest with the bill being far more expensive than advertised prices. An example of a really bad neighbourhood restaurant ripping people off.

“Do not go to this restaurant even with tastecard, it is a scam.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2012

Despite the good service (likely also because I was the only customer at that time), the experience was severely marred by the dishonesty of the waiter/cook. The outlet was run by 1-person who doubled as the waiter and chef when I visited. Everything was nice and fine, from my ordering (from the normal menu I was given) to the serving and my eating. Food was so-so even though the waiter boasted about how popular his curry was. The shock came when the bill arrived. I was charged double the price for my curry. He took out a differently-priced (much highly-priced) menu and claimed they serve based on that menu during the Christmas season. I am okay with paying the higher prices, but only if I had been informed before hand. Being shown one price list, and being charged based on a very much higher one, is sheer dishonesty and utterly disgusting. I do not recommend this restaurant.

“You'll Regret It”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

The restaurant suggests that it is Nepalese by the decor and the menu which appears to have a very wide selection of different dishes from North, East, South and West Nepal. The reality is that you get a standard meat or chicken curry without anything different from your standard, average takeaway so don't bother spending ages choosing your meal. just decide chicken, meat or vegetable. Expensive - £1.95 for a very poor chapatti!! I'm really glad it was on expenses otherwise I wouldn't have paid! There's much better much cheaper.
