Visited this hotel in late December, it was clean, quiet, friendly and the staff were helpful.

WILL USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Very good for visiting London three stops from Leicester Square.

Mac D's and Burger King and Shop all within 50 meters.

Room Tip: I was in a front room opposite Kings Cross Station and it was still quiet.

We stayed here for one night and found it close to rail connections.
The room was clean and tidy with a bar fridge. The bathroom modern and clean. the shower head needed a good Vikal clean - ended up pulling on the spouts to clear the build up of scum!! After that a great rain shower!
The reception staff were average, no high customer service skills!!.
We were given a room behind reception (triple) - out look to a beautiful wall!!!!!!!!
You pay extra (£6.95) for breakfast - but we opted to cross the road and have a McDonalds for half the price!!
Lots of eateries around.
It's a busy area so be prepared for noise.

Room Tip: Quieter rooms are facing away form the main road. Breakfast - McDonalds is across the road

Helpful friendly staff in central location.
Clean comfortable rooms, modern décor and great shower.
3 minutes walk from Kings Cross/St.Pancreas.
Plenty of places to eat nearby.
Rooms away from main road are more quiet.

I stayed here a while ago now with a large group of university friends for visiting a nearby campus. We found upon arrival, that although we had booked together our rooms were extremely far apart within the hotel.
Luckily our room was close to the very back of the hotel (no disabled access there! Almost 4 flights of stairs!) but it was quiet on the whole. The sound from the tube was an issue - but then again I'm a light sleeper.
The room was extremely basic, obviously had been cheaply renovated, our bathroom leaked water due to blocked drains every time we showered, and the reception were reluctant to fix or give us extra towels to deal with this issue.
Luckily we'd only paid on average £35 a night each, the cleanliness of the rooms was a bit suspect, and the cheap renovations were a bit tired.

Overall, you get what you pay for, which is the location. Good for travelling on a budget (if you can get a deal) but better if you won't be needing to spend much time there!

This hotel was extremely noisy. There was sound from the Tube until 1am and this started again at 5am. The receptionist was surly. You have to pay for Wifi. There is not Satellite TV or breakfast. It's in a very dodgy part of London.
