This is a nice little traditional pub tucked away near Hyde Park. It has the benefit of being atop a quiet mews where you can stand and sit outside in the warm weather. Inside it's traditional English pub and they do a really good selection of beers from lagers to Ales and there's a reasonable wine list. The downstairs pub grub can be a bit hit and miss sometimes served on the cold side after no doubt waiting around a kitchen waiting for service but sometimes they get it right and you end up with scrummy fish and chips or they do decent burgers. I have heard good things about the Sunday lunch and the restaurant upstairs but haven't tried them yet. This place will stay on the list for the warm weather! Clientele is mixed but interesting .. mostly professional types or local residents not too much in the way of riffraff :-)
