Description: Spanning the reigns of three monarchs and 80 years from first opening the doors, the family-run Elysee is more than just somewhere to have dinner. While great food is still at the heart of our ethos, an impressive refurbishment has seen the addition of a stylish cocktail bar, sumptuous private dining area and 700 square foot roof garden. This, along with live Greek music and entertainment along with a late license until 3:30am, six days a week, allows guests to indulge in a fantastic night out all under one roof. The fusion of traditional Greek culture with the modern twists inspired by owners the Karageorgis family ensures Elysee is as fun, different and authentic an experience as London has to offer. "Many places in London are hard to get in to...Elysee is hard to leave."

Excellent food, immaculate service and a relaxing atmosphere. Food is imaginative, superb tasting with excellent presentation. The great entertainment is a massive plus. A proper restaurant in all senses. As good as it gets at this moment.

These appetizers were perfectly tasty and served promptly: Asparagus Souvlaki (grilled with eggplant with Greek yogurt), pantzaria (beetroots), and Calamari (grilled and served with feta, fennel and orange) highly recommended; the Marithes Tiganites (crispy whitebait or "small fish with eyes"), however, were simply good. The lamb chops were superb! Excellent wine list. This is THE place to go in London for contemporary Hellenic cuisine. There is the choice of Al-Fresco dining on the terrace or the main restaurant with live music until 3am.

Don't even bother making a reservation here. The service was appalling. They dropped the 2 different menus on our table after 20 minutes. Then came back after another 15 mins to take our food order without asking us what drinks we wanted. Once we asked for several items from the main menu, we were told that we could only order from the meze menu on that night and the main menu was only for our drink selection. There were 8 of us, so we all ordered the meze sharing menu for 2 (x4 servings). The food that came out was for only 4 people. Then when we complained, they brought us the remainder of the servings on the larger plates (which were only salads). Throughout the meal, they never asked us for more drinks once our glasses were empty; we had to ask for more drinks and even got them wrong. Of course they charged us full price for this shonky service and merely exciting food. We left feeling hungry. Avoid this place at all costs!

Had a theatre weekend arranged and wanted to eat Greek and this is where we booked. Great atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food.

Would like to return with friends and make more of a night of things as felt we only scratched the surface of what The Élysée had to offer.

Well we had a great evening, the staff are top , and the entertainers are superb . I ordered as recommended by the gent to appeared to be in charge , the 37.50 menu for our party - mezze- but was disappointed that we only received the same listed food as the £19.00 per head mezze on the menu . This rankled , but to be honest the atmosphere and live music were worth more that that.
What little food that was was beautifully executed - fantastic greek salad in particular, with no fillers.
The Sauvignon was abit ropey , as was the prosecco . A shame . If they stuck to offering a set listed menu and got a good wine merchant , this place would be outstanding . Toilets also needed attention if you know what I mean .

Thank Sorrybarcelona
