The location is absolutely perfect. It's within walking distance to the Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace, with tons of bus lines and underground stations nearby so you can even stop by in the middle of the day if you simply need a little break from your sightseeing!
The flat is spacious, comfortable, with plenty of sunlight. It's located on Strutton Ground, which is only a little street, but you can find plenty of restaurants and breakfast/fast food shops, and a convenience store. On the weekdays, you'll find food stalls and other stalls being set up on the street (called the Strutton Ground Market) selling nice lunch and fruits and other things. A lot of office workers come to get their lunch too.
The flat is located on the second floor (third floor in American English) so there are quite some stairs to climb. Due to the market during the weekdays, it can get a little noisy. However, it's very quiet at nights. We also had a problem with the hot water (the water for the shower was boiling hot) but we finally figured it out before the owner sent somebody to help us (very responsive and helpful owner!).
We rented this flat last July when it was under a different management, it wasn't remodeled like now. But I can say the location is unbeatable. The street is definitely interesting with all the venders and hustle bustle. Nights are quiet. I honestly don't think anyone could be unhappy here.
