“A great find on our trip to London”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

On our planned trip to London I researched Where to eat & Dehesa appealed to myself & partner. We booked a table & met family , we are so pleased we did.
The food was extremly good, very tasty & as we all choose different dishes they arrived at different stages which we all agreed was a great way to eat! The scallops were wonderful as were the prawns & the sirloin steak!
Service was attentive & atmosphere relaxed, a very enjoyable evening, would definatly return on our next visit to London.

“Cosy, welcoming & great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

Dehesa is the sister of Salt Yard and the Opera Tavern and, in my opinion, the best of the lot.

It's a small restaurant, with mostly high tables and stools. This creates a great, informal atmosphere that matches the fantastic food perfectly. Service is friendly and efficient but you never feel rushed.

I've been there for lunch and dinner several times so can vouch for the consistency of the food and the service - a really lovely restaurant, will be back as soon, and as often, as I can.

The food here is just amazing, great location in pedestrian bit off Carnaby St.
Try the home made lemonade!
One of my London Top Ten.

“Second time and not disappointed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2012 via mobile

Came for lunch for two. Not booked and as it was late for lunch 1.45 there was a table in the bay window available.
We chose the tapas and took a choice of 2 from meat, fish and vegetarian.
The plates came in in an orderly fashion, prawns, were delicious arrived with the courgette flowers, they are divine! Definitely recommend. That was followed by crab soufflé, which was equally impressive. Then chorizo, plus ribs and mushrooms and mozzarella. The order they came out was right for the palate, so all went down well along with a bottle of Spainish white wine!
It is on the more expensive side of tapas but the food quality is excellent. You get what you pay for.
Lovely atmosphere and busy when we arrived and tailed off as the kitchen closes at 3pm.
Would definitely return or try Opera Tavern or SaltYard for a change.
