“Good quality of dimsum”

very tasty! and reasonable price (in London), I think it's quite famous restaurant already, so mostly you need to queuing there until someone done their food. very busy place. but deserve to queuing :-) I'd like to recommend.

“Great food poor service”
Reviewed June 7, 2014 via mobile

Went here yesterday (the 7th June) for a early dinner (around 6ish). I love ping pong so am always up for it and normally go to the Great Marlborough street one just down from Carnaby Street.
The food as normal was amazing however the service could of been better, at times we didn't even know who our server was as so many people were coming up to us. And the person who was apparently our server we never saw!!
So altogether great food atmosphere was ok but service wise could of been much better.

“Great!”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

I feel london typically does Chinese food pretty badly. It was refreshing however to visit ping pong. Lovely food with varied menu, cool location and & building. We went on a Friday night and it was rammed, definitely book ahead!

“Noisy, food inauthentic”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

This is a good place to eat Asian food if you don't want to be squashed in like Wagamama next door. Their dimsum used to be great but today, saw that this was a pretty inauthentic representation of what dimsum really is. They were rubbery and tasted like bad Chinese takeaway. If there is more booze option than food, there is something clearly wrong.
There are few tables that have a back support so not recommended for those who need that (otherwise, you need to sit outside).
Waitresses seem to be clueless on what dishes are included in set menus. It's a very loud place despite us being there for a midday lunch. Very over-priced for the quality of food. The pros: food served quickly and (hot) tea selection is quality but they don't actually make the tea leaves, do they?

“Go before 6:00 PM!”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

This restaurant is close to Waterloo train station and Festival Hall, London Eye and the Waterloo bridge. We tried to get in after 6:00 PM a couple of times but the place was packed and very noisy. We then made it back before 6:00 PM a couple of times and found it very nice. The menu is good. I have had better Dim Sum which is basically what the menu consists of but this is still in the very good variety. The wait staff is younger and efficient and get you in and out rapidly. The wait for food is minimal and is served one item at a time as most Dim Sum. Convenience to the venues previously mentioned however is the major attraction for Ping Pong
at this location.
