Description: Pies are our passion, our Steak & Kidney pie has even recently won a shiny, new award from the very prestigious, Great British Pie Awards (March 2017). Our famously, British menu boasts a variety of seasonally suited pies. Freshly home-made each morning, our suet pastry and potato topped pies are packed full of only the best, locally sourced ingredients. All of which can be washed down with up to 8 cask ales, a wide selection of craft beers or a glass of wine or two. Our ‘Secret Garden’ is ideally situated on our hidden roof terrace offering our guests an idyllic spot to dine alfresco, soak up the sunshine and relax. Along with our dedicated pie rooms and cosy bar, The Windmill pub is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the West End.

First time I had the Steak & Kidney Pie. This is the place to try it... they are award winners. The atmosphere was typical of an English Pub Restaurant. Comfortable and loud! People were truly having a great time. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service very fine.

We discovered the Windmill in 2008 and have become frequent visitors. Crossing the Atlantic once a week and making our way to Mill Street is a treat. The pies are very good. The first floor (upstairs) dining room is worth the advanced reservation needed to secure a table in this popular venue. The service is good. The only negative is the a la carte aspect of the menu which does run up the bill. However, for an added adventure (if you are of a certain age) exit the restaurant, turn right, cross at the zebra crossing and continue down Mill St which is now Saville Row. You will pass the fashionable tailoring shops and Police Station. When you come to #3 Seville Row pause or “get back” - on January 31, 1969 the Beatles performed here on the roof together as a group for the very last time. This was the Apple Studios office building. Having paid tribute to the Fab Four turn left at the end of the street, then right onto Regents and follow it right into Piccadilly Circus. A great evening out. Enjoy

I had the steak and kidney pie. It was fantastic. A Londoner recommended this pub (and that pie) to me, I I'll be thanking him tomorrow.

I’m really sorry that we couldn’t allow you into the Windmill with your son and I agree it is quite ridiculous. Unfortunately, it’s the condition of our license. Westminster council only allow us to accept young people over the age of 16 into the pub providing they have a full meal. If it was up to me, you and son would have been more than welcome!

A definite must visit when in London. Lovely pies in a unique London Pub, very close to Regent Street, but still affordable. Friendly waitress and all in all a good experience! Can't wait to go back!
