“Good food bad service.”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Two of us took about ten minutes to get seated despite 8 free tables. Assumed they were waiting for reservations but none arrived. Disappointing but good was nice.

“Great food, great service”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

I love Ed's have been to three of their stores, This one, the Soho one and the oxford Street one. The quality of the food is excellent. I particularly like there Chicken dippers with Jalapeno jelly - mmmmm. There Milk Shakes are to die for, especially with added malt

The decor is really coo,l it has a 50's American diner style. They also have little jukeboxes on the bar that have a selection of 50's and 60's music.

The service is also excellent. The staff are smiley and helpful and you can usually get a bit of banter going.

The food is reasonably priced for central london. If you get the chance you should definitely go it is a great experience and the food is super tasty.

“Reasonably priced for its location”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

We arrived about 6:30pm on a Wednesday evening. There were five of us and had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated.

Food is basically burgers, hot dogs and fries. Five us all ordered different things and one of us with a small appetite was allowed a children's dish despite well over the age limit. However that turned up with a very dry roll around her hot dog sausage. Staff replaced it without any fuss. Milk shakes were thick, burgers were well prepared and the chip portions generous. I had cheesy chips and have to say wasn't too keen on them, more of a runny strong cheesy sauce. Perhaps that's how they eat them in America. Next time I'll go for another variety of chips. We were all quite full after our meals so skipped the dessert menu.

Overall not bad - ideal for families or groups.

“Not bad considering location.”
Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

A 50's style burger joint, complete with booths and 50's music. Given its location (tourist trap) the food and price were reasonable. Good 50's vibe, worth a visit but you probably won't visit regularly
