“Good diner food with reasonable prices.”
Reviewed April 1, 2013 via mobile

Given the location of this restaurant you'd expect it to be over priced to make the most of the number of tourists in the area, it isn't! If you want a table rather than sitting at the bar you may have to wait a while, my tip is to sit at the bar where you'll get served much more quickly. They have an extensive menu of milkshakes, burgers and hot dogs. Exactly as you'd expect. The staff are only too happy to allow you to make customisations too. The food arrives quickly and tastes good. This place is well worth a try.

“American style”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

A very lovely place, with a typical american style! The burgers are tasty, and there's a variety of very good chips. Free refill it's always good, raccomanded for everybody!

“Vegetarians beware!!!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

As a vegetarian, I opted for the Spicy Bean Veggie Burger. I was excited for it! Until it came. It had about 10 beans in it (which is not a lot) and was covered in dried Pankro bread crumbs. It was more fried than anything else. Not spicy, not full of veggies (or beans) and just unhealthy and not the typically bean burger!

There is another veggie burger option... but it has cheese on it.

Don't get the bean burger if you're trying to not eat meat and still get the protein! You'll be very dissatisfied.

“Go back in time”
Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

Yeah it's just burger & chips but its like going back to the 1950s (I believe) - the food was great but the best thing ... Chocolate milkshake with malt- OMG - heaven. The atmosphere was great too. Worth a visit for its quirkiness.

“You either love it or loath it”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

I have to be honest. I don't like Ed's but once a year I'm being dragged to this place as my brother loves it. The run down: the vanilla shake is ok but a bit on the expensive side. The Big Bubba burger probably wasn't too bad either. The bun could've have been toasted a bit better. I went for the Chillie Fries and they were ok - but the fries generally are not great. My brother got the coke and had a couple of refills and was happy as Larry. I will go back with my brother in probably a year's time and see whether anything will have changed. I doubt it though.
