“go easy on the cheesy!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Me and my friend decided to dine at ed's at Piccadilly, as we had just been to see viva forever the spice girls musical at the Piccadilly theatre, which was just around the corner and we needed somewhere that was nice quick and easy. We walked in and were seated at the bar, which people seem to think is a downgrade. But I think it is the best seat in the house, you can everything which is going on and is great for a bit of people watching! We ordered our drinks and they arrived straight away, we then ordered our food I had a skinny ed(burger without a bun) my friend had the slick hot dog! Omg slick by name and nature! I hav never seen so much cheese in all my life! We ordered sides of cheesy chips( again drowning in a chesse slick) and the most gorgeous onion rings I hav ever tasted! The burger and the onion rings were to die for but if your not a fan of ten tonne of cheese I would avoid the slick dog and the cheesy chips. To finalise if you are looking for a nice well cooked quick meal, ed's is a winner great food good value for and a fab atmosphere!

“Great burgers with no fuss”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

This diner does great burgers and good milkshakes for a reasonable price. I'd recommend getting one of their meal deals (plate 1/2/3) which are excellent value. Soft drinks are free refills.

“Nice place - shame about the food”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Stopped in here for a lunch of burger, fries and milkshakes. The staff were really friendly, the restaurant looked as if you'd stepped into the set of Happy Days and then the milkshakes turned up which were thick, tasty and lots of it. So far so good.

Then the burgers and fries came and abject disappointment set in. The burgers were certainly fresh - but tasted of nothing. Expensive nothing. The fries were massive chip shop chips that looked like they belonged on Blackpool's beach front. Big and greasy - the Fonz would not have approved.

“Top American style food”

Fast service and good quality fast food. Was very busy when we went and had to wait for a table but worth the wait. Loved the food and the atmosphere.

“Nice, fun venue. Average food.”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

Fun venue with very friendly staff. The kids loved it.

Burgers were a bit generic and disappointingly dry.

Shakes went down very well with the whole family.

Would probably try somewhere else if looking for a really good, juicy burger.
