we stayed here for 2 nights to go see the stone roses. The hotel is definitely not luxury but if its just somewhere to get your head down after a concert then you cant ask for a better location. The entrance to finsbury park is literally a 2 minute walk across the road. you are only a 5 minute walk from finsbury underground as well. The hotel bar is only £2.50 a drink which is great. all the local pubs are £5 a drink. bad points..... our shower wasnt attached to the wall, the plug didnt fit the hole in the bath and no shower curtain lol. the bed was comfy but really noisy and the rest of the hotel is in need of sum tlc. I would still go back and stay if i was going to finsbury park again.

after reading reviews I decided to take no notice as the reviews from the last hotel I stayed at were horrendous and it was lovely. ok so the room was clean as was the bed. bit of mould above the shower which had great water pressure. maid cleaned room everyday and clean towels were left everyday too. we paid 126 quid for thurs fri n sat night for a bit of sightseeing and green day concert, and that included breakfast! breakfast consisted of cornflakes or muesli, toast with various jams, ham n cheese, fresh orange juice and tea n coffee. staff were friendly and helpful. at that price was well worth it would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: 611 was our room number if ya want a good room

Having read some of reviews of this Hotel we were expecting the worst but were pleasantly surprised. We had two rooms for one night, sons went to a concert at the Emirates while wife and I went to theatre in Central London. Cost for 2 rooms incl breakfast and free on site parking was less than £100. Rooms were small but clean, beds had crisp clean white sheets, ok the furniture is cheap flatpack and has seen better days and the bathroom may have one or two cracked tiles and a bit of mould in the sealant around the shower tray but if you're willing to put up with that I would recommend for a cheap option. Tube station is 2 mins walk that takes you straight into centre, there is a Costa Coffee and cafes nearby. Breakfast was conflakes or muesli, toast and jam with cheese or ham slices, orange or apple juice and tea or coffee, whilst not the best quality it was edible and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful even though the hotel was fully booked and very busy. Would we stay there again? Definitely!

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor and didn't hear any noise as mentioned by other reviewers.

Stayed in a double for one night after a concert at the Emirates Stadium. It was nowhere near as bad as I had expected.

Despite checking in late the receptionist was very friendly. We headed up to our room which was down a long and winding corridor, once we were in the door closed with a little push.

The room was clean. Strangely laid out and well used (the handle on the wardrobe fell off randomly).

At £50 for a room for one of the busiest nights in London we were satisfied. We woke too late for breakfast. If you need somewhere to stay (and not to spend a significant amount of time in) then this place will do. It's clearly a well used hotel which is in the process of refurbishing. Make use of the cheap rates while you can.

Did not sleep at all due to the stairs being the creekiest in the world, and people seemingly bouncing up and down them continuously through the night.
There were mugs and tea and coffee provided, but no kettle...
The shower had no curtain and wasn't pleasant.
Not really a nice experience at all.

The breakfast.....the breakfast was the cheapest thinnest bread available, and the cheapest cheap, and I think it was ham?

Not great.

Excellent location though!

Room Tip: Stay in another hotel.

Like the other reviews, this hotel is worse than basic. We weren't expecting much, because of the cheapness, and we were right. Cracked and dirty shower, hair on the loo, sloping rickety floor, with big gaps in the laminate. But bed was comfy and clean, and although there was a funfair in the park, we couldn't hear a thing. breakfast was dire, cheapest of cheap bread, ham and cheese (best avoided if you value your stomach) and am guessing the local council use this place to temporarily house people due to certain 'guests' wandering around in their dressing gowns and worn out slippers. My advice - stay at a travel loge!

located: 2mins from finsbury park station (picadilly line - to/from heathrow about 1h to go!). Going to inner city and sightseeing locations you are quite quick from there.
Room: booked a single, got one with 2 beds which I put together then ;) quite simple furnished without any decoration. Bath not very good, pretty small lavatory, water ran a bit all the time, no space for toilet bag, shower rather old and outworn, shower curtain rail and other rusty, cracks in wall and shower flooring.
1 cupboard (rather small for 2 people) but two additional side board.
Small flat TV fixed on the wall.
No kettle. No hairdryer - borrowed it at the reception being told it is a luck that there is one left.
Breakfast: ok. Toast, ham, cheese, jam, butter, orange/apple juice, cornflakes. Tea. Chocolate. BAD: coffe - instant nescafe, not good.
Service: guys at reception very friendly. 24h reception
Surrounding: there is a Lidl right there, this is best. Then a Costas (for checking a drinkable coffee in the morning), street bit dirty but the finsbury park is quite nice. I once returned to hotel at 3 o'clock in the morning by bus and did not feel uncomfortable walking from the station to hotel.

WORST: the room was EXTREMELY NOISY!!! You do hear every step above, below, outside, from neighbourhood, every word, water running, toilet, even the alarm clock from other guests. This was really annoying, did not sleep a single night well - this, for me, is the reason why I will not go there again, it is just much too loud, no chance to get any relaxing time there.
