Description: This charming branch of FishWorks in Marylebone is a bright, informal restaurant serving up immaculately prepared, simple fish dishes. The cheery blue and white interior makes for a relaxed eating environment, with customers bustling around the traditional fish counter and specials handwritten on the chalkboards. Seafood specials include fish pie and shellfish platters, with a fish-friendly wine list and a children's menu available.

Every visit to London we go to the Fishworks at Marylebone for, Dinner, its consistancy to provide great fish dishes with my special favourite starter whitebait that melts in your mouth....
The maincourse was followed by halibut which was truly amazing, mouth watering and fantastic presentation!!!!!!!!

Cant wait for my next trip to test the next special of the day!

This is a great fish restaurant which always serves fresh and well-cooked fish and seafood. The only downside is that the acoustics are not great, so if there is a noisy party in you may find it difficult to converse. The oysters are great - pity they no longer do the bloody Mary with an oyster on top. That was a wonderful starter!

Visited for lunch with friend - nice staff but definitely not fully trained waited for 10 minutes for a drink even though it was not particularly busy.

Everything was fine save for the seating is against a wall with a long benched cushion type seat. I am five foot five and found that I was sitting particularly low to the table whilst my friend who is 5 foot sat on the wooden chair opposite and was taller!! There is also a cold wind which blows directly behind the benched seating which was particularly uncomfortable - must be some kind of extract fan but it made it very cold.

All in all though I would return.

Quick lunch for two, service v good. Starters of pear salad liked by my guest whilst I had good old
Fried whitebait served in a little bucket for some reason
Mains,we both had haddock, placed egg new potatoes etc -very traditional dish. Tasty and well presented. No time for pudding
Wine ,a reasonable Chablis which drank well.
It was not crowded thank goodness as the tables are close together.
I would go back but only for quick lunch / early evening meal

Great location in the middle of Marylebone High Street, you can either buy fresh fish from the front, or eat in the warm and welcoming restaurant behind. Good service and great selection of ordinary fish and chips-to more elegant lobsters etc. Good wine list too.
