I've been going to Palace Spice for about three years now and every time both the food and customer service are of a very high standard. This place beats a lot more expensive restaurants hands down, especially if you take advantage of the '50% off the food bill' offer when you book through certain restaurant booking websites.

We have been to Palace Spice three times since our first visit four months ago and have been very impressed every time. We were looking for somewhere new we could go with our taste london card and did look at the reviews on here and thought they sounded a little too good but figured we may as well give it a go.
We didnt realise at the time but they actually specialise in lower fat curries than the curry you would usually find and not having that extra layer of grease at the top of your food was nice and unexpected. This doesn't mean in any way they lose out on taste. Must recommend the curry second from the bottom of the chef's recommendations page in the menu, its superb.
Portion sizes are really good, not too big that you have lots left over but just the right amount that you are happily full. The starters and sides are all good too =, well the ones we have tried so far.
Staff are very good and attentive. Food was a little slow the last time we went as there was a group of about 12 who arrived just before us but was definitely worth the wait.
Anyway, highly recommended and even without a taste card is very good value for what you get

Restaurant is a bit on the small size.... However the great tasting food and fantastic service soon makes you forget how tightly squeezed it is.

Fantastic value for money.. The food was delicious. This was my first visit and most certainly will not be my last.

I booked this restaurant based on its reviews for a meal with a group of friends. We were not disappointed. The food was mouthwateringly good. I ordered a house special based on a review I read and it was wonderful. Just enough spice and deliciously rich. The service might have been a little slow which would have been out only gripe but we weren't in a hurry and the waiters were very courteous and lovely. We all received a complimentary baileys at the end of the meal. With a Tastecard, it was exceptional value. It would have been good value without. All my friends had an enjoyable meal here.

Went to this restaurant last night for Birthday do.
There was 6 of us.
Food was very decent and we ordered the house RED. At £10 a bottle they could eaily afford to add another fiver on the price.. it was superb !.

Staff were excellent.
Before we arrived, they had put a small banner above the table saying happy birthday with baloons .
They also took the small birthday cake i brought and when i asked them to cut it.. they came back in with a few lit candles on it.
All in all excellent service and restaurant.
It is small so probably advisable to book in advance.

Will definitely go back even though i live nowhere near there. Tis about 15min walk from Clapham junction.
