“Quirky!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

We needed somewhere local to the IWM, just for a pub lunch. Liked the look of the web-site images, and the place didn't disappoint. We like "quirky" pubs and restaurants, and the eclectic furnishings and fittings were great.

The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Not too pricey either, which is always a bonus in London.

It was very quiet (late lunch), so can't really comment on atmosphere etc, hence the average scores

“Nice Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2012

It was lunchtime and on a whim, I decided to try this restaurant. Its a comfortable place across from the Camden Road train station and has a nice menu. I had a chicken veggie stack which was very tasty and nicely plated. I tried the Eton Mess, which is a concoction of whipped cream, raspberry juice (to make the whipped cream pink) and crushed shortbread cookies mixed in, served in a parfait glass and topped with raspberries - very pretty and too large to finish, and quite good. This restaurant surprized me....I will go back again.

“Top Marks just for the atmosphere...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2012

...because we haven’t eaten there yet :( sorry lovelies cannot say anything about the food BUT its usually full in the evenings and people all seem to be eating so it cannot be that bad. I have friends who eaten there and they say it’s pretty good. A great bonus for this place is that on Sundays they serve other things than just roast dinner. Very rare to find a pub on a Sunday to do burgers and sandwiches.
Also this place is a good mix of young professionals, couples and slightly older (but not OLD folks) so it has a great atmosphere. Regrettably a lot of pubs in that area attract the "lads" and older "geezers" but this place is quiet (on most evenings) and relaxing.
I love the location most of all. Right on the river you sort of forget the hustle and bustle of London and even on a cold day it’s great to sit there (they have heaters). The decor is dark brown, leather and wood which is what you want in a Gastro-Pub. The staff is lovely so overall a good little place. A lot better than neighbouring pubs!
