Description: Dalila is a Lebanese restaurant and bar lounge in Queenstown Road, located just after the Chelsea Bridge and fashionable Lavender Hill. It combines a contemporary and elegant set up as well as one that is warm and inviting, reflecting exactly what the Lebanese cuisine is about. And with a wine list that encompasses the best of Lebanese wine as well as famous chateaux from around the world, what more could one ask for?Our menu reflects the tastes of Lebanon; it includes an extensive selection of hot and cold mezze, which are perfect for sharing, some mouth watering grills and main courses in addition to delicious Lebanese desserts.

It is real joy to once again have this restaurant in good hands. We loved it as Stepping Stone, always full, always a smile from service and always delicious. It passed though different other stages and now finally seems to be making a success as Dalila.

The food is generous, fresh, well spiced and of a very high quality. All their mezze are consistently good if not excellent: fresh herbs, thin light bread, modulated condiment and spices, silky and flavourful - they all sing. The meats and main dishes are all of a high standard and well-cooked. The shawarnas if you just want a takeway sandwhich are sensational (I hate to say it but better than those of Marroush or Noura). Over time they appear to building on and investing in ingredients as they get more people through their doors.

The pastries may not be made inhouse but they are fresh and really delicious, so leave some room for one!

Prices are eminently reasonable and service is always kind and attentive, striving to give it their best and make Dalila a success. With such a proposition, I have no doubt it will be.

Read a review of Dalila on a blog and decided to pop in last night. We ordered 6 mezze between 2 of us and left stuffed. The food was fantastic. The foul was a highlight - warm, lemony and comforting. The lamb kebbeh were also brilliant and the makanek sausages tasted great.

The decor was a little too formal for a restaurant serving food of this nature, and the quietly throbbing house music was a strange accompaniment. Then again, if this place was all exposed brick and industrial lighting it would probably be twice the price.

Excellent food, courteous service and at a bargain price. I'll be returning soon!

We ate the light menu and it was enough. Wonderful starters -hummus, fanush (I think!), garlicky potatoes, gorgeous chicken wings. And Lebanese style bread-unleavened. The lamb fell off, it had a whif of cinnamon about it and melted in your mouth. The rice was perfectly cooked.
Possibly the only negative comment was that the white wine just wasn't cold enough. We asked for ice which of course diluted it which was a shame.
Total was £26 per person, including service. The service was good, staff were welcoming and we were given a taster dessert-not overly sweet sweets! Delish!
Will definitely go again.

Really excellent and fresh superior quality Lebanese food with a bottle of surprisingly good Lebanese wine. Lovely interior and brilliant friendly staff. We eat out a fair amount in London and this one of the rare occurrences where you genuinely think for the food, ambience and service the bill was an absolute bargain. We will definitrely return.
