An excellent Chinese restaurant serving probably the best Dim Sum in the West End in London at a reasonable price.

Clean restaurant and efficient service make for a good family venue. We have been there several times and have always enjoyed it.

Our family and I love dim sum and always rated Toronto, HK and Singapore a fab place to dine but admittedly Royal China is the best dim sum in town!! Service has to be brilliant and it is...a lovely place to dine! We love the authentic dishes...slightly biased as we are chinese but eating dim sum has always been a family (and friends) tradition we keep to!!! Well done Royal China..will always be coming back!!!

i was taken here on 23rd October 2012 for first time, and I will be back. This is a real find. Spacious dining room with space between tables. Excellent choice of dishes. Busy, but plenty of staff on hand and service very good. We ate a mixed starter of Sesame toasts, Spring Rolls and fried Octopus, followed by 1/4 crispy duck with pancakes and plum sauce, shallots and cucumber. As if that was not enough we devoured some large prawns and pork in a paper bag. Superb meal!

If you're stuck for a place for dinner, 9 times out of 10 you cannot go wrong with RC (nickname for those in the area!). The food quality on the whole is good, although they do have their dips. They don't serve dim sum at night too. However they recently have some very good udon noodles (eggless too!). YUMMY FOOD OVERALL.

Rachel Stevens was dining next to me here not long ago!

Also a shame that the manager here is so stuck up! They are so stingy on the red chilli sauce and always pretend they don't have it, as if they are rationing it.

We attended the Royal China last night to celebrate our anniversary. Being visitors to London we didn't know our way around and were looking for something close to where we are staying. We read a few reviews here for other locations and decided to settle on the Royal China.

It didn't disappoint. The restaurant is well patronised and a really beautiful venue. The prices are higher than most Chinese but the quality was comparable with the best we have eaten. The Dim Sum were excellent as too the Vietnamese spring rolls. The main dishes were equally impressive and was complimented by an excellent wine list.

We had an excellent meal, wonderful celebration and the staff were attentive, welcoming and friendly. Worth a visit especially as an alternative to all the middle eastern and Italian options which seemed to be the predominant options around Marble Arch.
