My husband and I were spending the afternoon in London on Saturday and being rather tight on time I decided to do a little research online for a decent place to have our lunch.
I decided this place had a good menu and location ( covent garden ) so decision made.
We were not disappointed. Looked very nice from the outside, if a little cramped but we were shown upstairs to a slightly larger seating area. Unfortunately it became quite busy and the tables were very close together but ended up chatting to two very nice ladies who were sat practically at our table.
Service was prompt and efficent and the menu choice was really good. 2 courses £7.90 or 3 courses £9.90.
I had melon and mango with a raspberry sauce and my husband had feta salad to start. Main courses we had were chicken arrabbiata pasta, very nice and spicy, and chicken shish kebab, rice and salad. The ladies next to us had the salmon served on spinach with a saffron cream sauce. Looked delicious. The portions are not huge but quite ample. We both felt satisfied when we finished.
Good place to go if shopping in the covent garden area.

Can highly recommend this restuarant if in the covent garden area - 2 courses for £11.90 and plenty of choice!! The food was of a very high standard and given there wasn't a spare seat in the house goes to show how popular this restaurant is!!

We went there as tourists in london - we read about the restraunt online and tried out the one at Soho. It's definitely value for money as we had a 3 course meal for 12 pounds. The starters were nice, the moussaka was lovely. The only thing that I wasn't so happy with was the kebab which I felt slightly rubbery. The deserts were good too and we had the stuffed apricrots which were very different and lovely. I would recommend this place for a quick cost efficient nice meal.

Our original choice of restarant was packed to over flowing and there was no way we'd get a table for 10 of us!

So we wandered around Covent Garden for a while and bumped into Bistro 1. It was getting late and it was a cold night. We knocked on Bistro 1's door and they were more than happy to put some tables together and squeeze us in! They saved the night!

Food and service were excellent and the bill wasn't bad either! Would definitely recommend this gem of a eatery to anyone.
