Well adapted takeover of the next door premises provides a much bigger seating area, giving piles of room to sit and enjoy this smart eatery, close to the Thames and five minutes pleasant walk from St Katharine Docks. They open early and a wide variety of breakfast items are available. I have enjoyed their substantial lunchtime meals, served briskly by friendly staff and good value for £5 / £6. The new seating area is warm and light, with plenty of tables outside if the weather is ok. In the old days, the site was at the edge of London Docks- Charles Dickens would have been pleased not only with the name of the Cafe, but the flavour of the food and their excellent coffee.
