Well adapted takeover of the next door premises provides a much bigger seating area, giving piles of room to sit and enjoy this smart eatery, close to the Thames and five minutes pleasant walk from St Katharine Docks. They open early and a wide variety of breakfast items are available. I have enjoyed their substantial lunchtime meals, served briskly by friendly staff and good value for £5 / £6. The new seating area is warm and light, with plenty of tables outside if the weather is ok. In the old days, the site was at the edge of London Docks- Charles Dickens would have been pleased not only with the name of the Cafe, but the flavour of the food and their excellent coffee.

Breakfast or lunch if you are looking for good quality, wholesome, freshly prepared food and you are in the area then look no further. The service is friendly as you would expect from an Italian owned and run establishment, quantities are big, prices are not. The bacon sandwiches have bacon spilling out of the sides despite the huge slices of bread. Coffee is some of the best and not at S****ucks prices. The interior is fresh and spacious and the sun is shining the pavement chairs are plentiful. Eat-in or take-out; it's worth it

I just came from having breakfast in Pumblechook's. It was my 3rd time there and my colleagues have taken to going here every friday morning for breakfast.
The bread is good, the bacon was thick and not watery and the eggs cooked just the way I asked. The price is perfectly reasonable and the place is clean.
All in all, recommended if you're in the area and bear in mind that there aren't many decent and reasonable-priced establishments in the area.
