What a great place for a lovely evening!
The restaurant is quirky and charming, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
We had some good cocktails at the bar before we were taking to our table.
We ordered a delicious burgundy wine under the sommelier recommendation.
For starter we order the foie gras with pear and safran chutney, it was one of the best foie gras I ever had followed by grilled veal chop, which was succulent, cook to perfection, still moist and tender and some nice side order to choose from. For dessert we had an unbelievable pear tart and almond cream simply delicious! Will definitely go back...loved it!!

Looking for a great meal with great service, fantastic presentation and tastes to remember? Look elsewhere. THIS ISN'T THE PLACE TO COME! From beginning to end, this restaurant, situated on the Chelsea Embankment, looking out to the beautifully lit Albert Bridge, has a welcoming main floor with its open pit grilling space and anti-room bar. However, that is all that is good about this place. The owner/management of this established should be ashamed. Poorly trained wait staff, uninspired food presentation on the plate at skyrocketing prices. This place is awful.

The rack of lamb chops ordered were inconsistently cooked with one end raw the other like shoe leather. The main plate was served as a set of chops spread out on a white plate adorned with a blue poodle on it with no garnishment or colorful veggie. Why the poodle. Why no garnishment that looked pretty. Ok, so you gave us some potatoes slapped out a pan and put into a little dish with a spoon standing up in them. Awful, awful, awful. I didn't order chops on a plate. I ordered an expensive item as my main plate. Let's move on to the fish stew. So little fish it was pathetic. Certainly not worth the price paid for this less than mediocre item. If you are going to charge high prices, give us some value for money spent.

Now the poor waitstaff. They tried and failed. Don't know a thing about service, pouring wine or clearing the table. Sham, sham on you management. They are very nice friendly people that don't have a clue of restaurant etiquette. You also need to train them to learn the menu items in French, since you call yourself a French restaurant. We had to point to the items on the menu because they didn't understand us when we spoke both English and French. Train them. Help them.

Owner/Management you need to regroup. You don't deserve to be in business at this level of service and food quality.

Visitors beware. I would never return here.

Local brasserie serving excellent food and really only a couple of quibbles - a tad on the expensive side (£24 for three small French cutlets with nothing else on the plate), a little noisy, and very hot. Overall though, an enjoyable experience and will probably return.

I ate here after attending a book launch in nearby Cheyne Row a this place is very close. The atmosphere was good/good music being played and not too loud. Service was fine. The rack of lamb was excellent. A better selection of wines by the glass or half bottle would be good. I would go back.

Once we had fought through the traffic from east to west , we saw our dinner venue behind the trees in front of the Thames . It was a quaint local bistro that welcomed us with a warm and friendly feel .
We were early for our booking and we were asked if we wanted to go to the bar upstairs .
This was an area that was like a lounge with sofas and high back chairs. We were served some nice cocktails and were later shown to our table downstairs .
The food was amazing, the staff were attentive and we were made to feel at home .
We found the whole place very homely and would definitely come back .
Thanks for a top eve .
Steve
