Description: Cheyne Walk Brasserie & Salon offers simple yet brilliantly executed brasserie dishes within luxurious yet informal Belle Epoque surroundings. You can enjoy fine wines by the glass or bottle whilst sampling our quintessentially French Provencal menus. The upstairs salon is excellent for whiling away an afternoon, or an after dinner drink. With a stunning river view and deep chaises lounges it's perfect for relaxing in.

Had a lovely lunch with very attentive service. When the check came, the bill didn't tally as expected and I was told that i had been given their weekday lunch menu when in fact is was the weekend, but even so, I was expected to pay the difference. Beyond irritating and wildly unprofessional.

Overlooking the River Thames and the Battersea Bridge, the Cheyne Walk Brasserie provided us with a wonderful evening out. The first thing you notice is the atmosphere, with its stucco walls softened by chandeliers and an open hearth, where we were seated, where much of the food is prepared. The smoky smell was inviting! A nice wine list and a slightly limited but sufficient menu provided enough choices to enjoy the experience. I ordered the grilled lobster with garlic butter and we shared several side dishes. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyed in the quiet and relaxing environment. The service was very attentive, and the maitre'd was most anxious to ensure we had a pleasant experience.

Had a lovely time with friends. We had cocktails at the bar and then sat for dinner on a table close to the fireplace which is used for grilling most food.
The menu is Ok but not spectacular, the wine list is not too big but over priced and the whole experience was not up to what it cost.
The place was also super hot, due to the fire place.... not sure how it will be in summer....

We booked for four people on line a week before. It was a warm evening and unfortunately our table was next to the grill. We all chose different starters and the main course for four people was a selection of grilled meats for £120. It was a bit hit and miss as some of the meat was tough. All in all I would say the food was above average, but not great. The staff all seemed to be Eastern European with the charm of commandants in an internment camp and slightly arrogant too. Not the sort of attitude you would expect from staff serving in an expensive restaurant and hoping for repeat business, especially as we are local. We had two bottles of wine, no dessert or coffee and the bill was £330.
