Owner description: Football is one of the city's greatest passions. There are two big clubs in the city, but it's those playing in red who enjoy most of the attention. Liverpool FC opens its Anfield Stadium to visitors during the day when no games are scheduled. Led by enthusiastic guides, the museum and stadium tour gives sports fans behind-the-scenes access to one of the best-known soccer clubs in the world.

It was an ok meal in a cafe. But the tour at the stadium is worth the money and the museum as well. YNWA

“A must for all Liverpool fans”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

Of course being a Liverpool fan I am going to like this and a legends tour from John Aldridge made this a special day for me, but Liverpool have only room for what they have and that's not enough for a great team like this
Museum and stadium tour both okay but everywhere is cramped and if its busy there is plenty of jostling to be done for a decent picture

“Really good visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

The tour was very interesting, and the tour guide very good. The tour covered all of the interesting parts of the ground, with the possible exception of the Hillsborough Memorial. The Museum was also very good, as was the shop. The area around the ground is in a very poor state, so let's hope the club and the City Council get their act together to sort this out for the benefit of the local community as quickly as possible.

“Go Elsewhere”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

The stadium itself is very run down, but when you combine that with staff who would rather skulk and hide than serve or deal with you, and stupidly high prices for what you get, you get the impression that you are being taken for a ride.

1) The place itself is a bit of a dump. And it doesn't help when you have to be in close proximity to "people" who you would cross the street to avoid.

2) The staff are not very helpful, as a whole.

I can understand that you may want to visit because you support the team etc... but take time out beforehand to figure out if you are being played for a fool or not.

3) The prices are extreme and you get the sense that they really couldn't give a monkeys about you or why you are there. Just as long as you're paying your money over. This is reaffirmed when you see that the staff in general don't seem to care at all

4) I have been to many places and it still shocks me when I overhear staff swearing to each other, in general conversation. They know people are paying, they know there are children. But they still do it. Why?? If I spoke to a colleague in front of clients the same way, I would be fired. Simple. You don't expect to hear it...especially when there are children close by. But worse than that, you may just be paying for the privilege.

If you are a complete fan, then waste your money.

Such a shame!

“put a huge smile on my sons face”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

What an amazing place to visit even if you are not a football fan. You can practically feel the history and get a sense of just how important a place this is almost spiritually to so many people. The guides are animated and knowledgeable and the tour really is a behind the scenes experience. You can touch steven gerrards shirt, see where Suarez gives his interviews and see the ground from the managers dugout. So many interesting facts and more merchandise than any red fan can dream about. A real treat.
