we've struggled to find a good curry house in Liverpool. I suppose we have high standards as we're from the midlands. We have been here several times and have had consistently good currys. vegetarian side orders are also great. good service.

to start no cobra or tiger beer which i would expect at any Indian restaurant.
Food was ok, didn't make any special requests particularly easy.
Service average.
Its not an Indian i will eat at again

I love this place - we regularly use it for take-away - which is outstanding but it's always a treat to actually go in for a nice sit-down meal.

The Red Fort is an Indian restaurant and then some. The menu is vast - and helpfully, most of the dishes are rated to show how hot they are. My favourite is their Duck chilli modou - a fiery little number that's also quite sweet thanks to a touch of honey. I've never tasted anything else quite like it elsewhere - it's outstanding.

We recently dined here with friends who were visiting from London. They're big curry fans and were blown away by the Fort's wonderful veggie side-dishes. They were also in shock (in a good way) by the prices.

The waiters at the Red Fort are all gentlemen and make a meal out there feel like a very special experience - the service can't be faulted. It's always busy and very popular - it's easy to see why. Excellent - and worth going ever so slightly out of town for the pleasure.

We visited this Indian on Chinese New Year (bizarrely enough) as all Chinese within a 5 mile radius of Liverpools China Town were full. The service was fantastic from start to finish. A shame to see there was only Carling on draught, but plenty of Indian beer in bottles. Poppadoms & accompaniments were nice & fresh. Starters nice & light as well as being presented pleasantly. Drinks topped up regularly but not too pushy as some places can be. Sizzling lamb main was great. Tasty lamb, tasty onions - beautiful sauce. Rice & naan were tasty & naan was light. Great dining experience & flavoursome food. Will be visiting again.
