This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel and the second time was even better than the first. Last time there was just the 2 of us but we were so impressed we persuaded 6 of the family to come along this time.

The only criticism we had last time was the noise at night but this was easily resolved as we were given a room at the back of the hotel and didn't hear a peep at night. The beds are huuuuge and the comfiest I have ever slept in.

The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had intended to go the football but unfortunately as we arrived we recieved news that it had been cancelled. We decided to chance our luck and try and check in. When we arrived the doors were locked as the hotel had closed christmas day and wasnt due to open til later that day. We rang the reception who were more than happy to let us in and show us to our rooms. Immediately one couple in our party were unhappy as the room was so cold but again the staff immediately moved them to another room with minimun fuss.

Another member of our party had an allergy to feathers so requested different pillows as they are feathered, The staff again sent somebody straight up who changed the pillows and quilt. On the second day housekeeping even knocked on the room just to ask if we wanted anything as we hadnt asked for the room to be cleaned.

The location of the hotel could not be better with every amenity imaginable within walking distance. This has now become our annual christmas treat and we are also hoping to go back through the year. It really is a pleasure staying in the hotel.

I organised a nights stay for my Beatles loving boyfriend. The hotel decor and touches around the hotel were fabulous, even I appreciated them.
We stayed in a luxury room (paid 140). The rooms are modern and very, very comfortable.
Location is fantastic - for Beatles fans the Cavern club is round the corner, and for shoppers Liverpool
One is a minutes walk away.
Breakfast was included in the price we paid and was fantastic!
The only area that I would Mark it down on is price - it's an expensive 4 star without facilities other than bar and restaurant. The themed element definitely bumps the price up, but it's worth paying if you or your partner/friend love the Beatles.

Booked a double room 8 months in advance for our anniversary as a treat but were given a twin room. When we complained they pushed the beds together!!!!!!
Really poor value. Room was tiny. Paintwork was scuffed and chipped which normally I wouldn't mind but not in a 4* hotel charging £170/night. They could not fit us in the restaurant and would not serve food in the bar. Staff were very rude. When we asked if they could recommend a nearby restaurant they responded by giving us a folder with restaurant names and addresses. As we are not local ( which is why we needed a hotel ) we could not tell from the addresses whether they were nearby. All of the Beatles memorabilia is in the bar so you could just go for a drink.
The room was nice but small and vvastly overpriced.
We wrote to complain and were offered another stay at £90. We wont be taking this offer up as we don't feel it is worth even this.

I had a really nice night at the hotel , the beds were great and so were the staff! Although the temperature was very warm in the room even with the air con turned as low as possible! We had a bit of trouble with the tv , but the manager came promptly up to our room and fixed it! Very good overall!

Seemed a good idea to book overnight stay as out late in Liverpool. When the snow came down it seemed inspired. The hotel itself is vey tasteful it could easily have been tacky with its Beatle theme. Would appeal to none Beatle fans. Room was v generous in size with nice air con/light controls, TV had good choice of premium channels. Staff very friendly and reassuringly scouse, it somehow would have seemed in appropriate to be served by someone with an eastern european/australian accent.
Breakfast was fine if nothing out of the ordinary.
Check in/out efficient and friendly.
Was bit outside noise from the street ie Mathews street which as home of the cavern was to be expected. The bathroom a little cold bot it was minus 10 outside.
