“Perfect for a shopping weekend”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Stayed here recently with a group of friends. Location is perfect for shopping in Liverpool One and very close to bars, restaurants and general nightlife. The room was spacious and clean with nice decor. Only mild grumble would be that the giant shower head, whilst pretty, was not well serviced by good water pressure and so not great for those ladies with long hair to wash! The service was excellent especially the check in staff and I can thoroughly recommend the valet parking service.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 2nd floor front and it was a little noisy if you are a country bumpkin but probably...

Stayed at the Hard Days Night Hotel for my parents joint 60th surprise Birthday celebration. The hotel was fantastic - the décor and experience was real quality. The rooms were lovely and cosy and were quiet as they were located facing inwards to the middle of the hotel and not outwards towards the street.

Blakes Restaurant was very good too. The food (that was part of the Rock and Soul Package) and the drinks were of good quality.

We experienced a great night in the Cavern Club to top it off afterwards......

Would recommend to stay here and will look to visit again in the future !!!

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and found the rooms spacious and the bed exceptionally comfy, we also opted for breakfast which was very good. The staff on reception are very helpful and pleasant, also I left all my beatles memorabilia behind which was very upsetting but the senior housekeeper Mrs J Potts assured me it was safe and was being posted out to me as in type this. I would recommend this hotel many times and it is also central plus just around the corner from the famous Cavern club. We will be returning again

Room Tip: Our room was 301 which was also a room for disabled people it was very spacious with a large bathroo...

Stayed for two nights as a family of three in a deluxe room. Very clean accommodation, and great service at the hotel. Good value for the Magical Mystery Tour package including visit to the Beatles Story, a Magical Mystery coach tour and free entry to the wonderful Cavern Club. Good evening meal in Blake's but slightly expensive, nevertheless a relaxing and convenient start after a long journey. The hotel is perfectly situated and we would highly recommend it. I am sure we will revisit.

Guys it does what it says on the tin
Lovely hotel but ensure you don't stay on the 1st floor and stay on the inside rooms or you won't sleep great due to the noise from the road
Other than that great stay and great decor

If you are a Beatles fan then this a must. If you're not a fan then I think that you would still enjoy your stay. Memorabilia adorns the walls from the reception area, through the bars, up the stairs and eventually into the bedrooms.

There was live music (more of an background accompaniment) both nights which was of a good standard.

The staff were excellent; from the concierges to the receptionists and the waiting staff were friendly and very efficient.

We ate in the Blakes restaurant one evening and the food, decor and staff were excellent.

The deluxe bedroom was on the small size but was clean and comfortable, with a decent shower plus tea and coffee making facilities. Some guests have complained about noise from the street but we stayed in 123, which faced the rear and was very quiet.

The location is a mixed bag; if you are a Beatles fan then it is perfect as Mathew Street (home of the Cavern etc.) is right round the corner. However, this same street is fairly raucous and might not be to everyone's taste.

The hotel offers various packages - ours was the Ultimate package, which includes two nights bed and breakfast, two passes to the Beatles Story (located in Albert Dock), two tickets for the Magical Mystery Tour coach plus a taxi tour. Special mention must go to Joey Lyons, our taxi driver, who is hugely knowledgeable and very entertaining. Recommend this trip and specifically ask for him.

All in all we had a wonderful time, enhanced by the local people who made our stay a memorable one.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the road.

Have been a few times for afternoon tea at the Hard Days Night Hotel and when we first went a couple of years ago it was really nice and good value.
Now the quality has gone down, along with the quantity that you get and the price has gone up.

Not good value at all.
