Hard Days Night Hotel
Ranked #27 of 98 Hotels in Liverpool
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed December 4, 2012

This hotel is ideal for both.
I’ve been there with my family and in several business trips.
My kids loved and still remember it.
Clearly “The Beatles” is the main theme but rooms are modern and very well equipped, the location is fantastic, in the middle of Liverpool, the receptionists are helpful, very professional and nice smiling always at your request.
Breakfast is also good.
Entering in the room is not the easiest thing to do the first time but you will learn quickly and you won’t have any problem.

It would take too long to write this review to express our experience , was last weekend past, all I will say is don't get a room looking out over front of hotel no sleep from midnight to 630 next morning ( fri into sun) check thoroughly cleanliness of rooms etc , we were compensated for 1 night stay, and have had contact with a supposed GM, who doesn't know difference between (patients in doctors surgery ) and patience in waiting on my reply from him, we tried to contact this said GM on at least 4times during our stay but unavailable at all times if you need to know more contact myself through trip advisor , liverpool itself was a great city and a credit to city planners and council ps we weren't there for a football match but to enjoy a relaxing break and enjoy the city ,this could be a good hotel, if there was a GM on board who cares!

Room Tip: Ask at reception about noise levels example rooms 306 and307

Great boutique hotel. Especially - but not only - if you are a Beatles fan!

Rooms are spacious. Staff friendly. Breakfast good.

If you drove to Liverpool, park in the "Q-Park Liverpool One" , which is a different one from the "Q-Park John Lewis" (right next to each other, confusing!). the Hard Days Night Hotel gives you a discount voucher for the "Q-Park Liverpool One".

This was our second stay at this hotel, and again it was superb. Excellent location, lovely room, and whether you are a Beatles fan or not, a great place to stay in Liverpool.

Didn't eat in the restuarant, as there are several nearby.

We shall be back!

Room Tip: Book a Deluxe Room, well worth it!

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The check in process was easy and the guy in reception friendly. It is in an ideal location next to Liverpool One shopping. The room was a good size with comfortable twin beds, with everything you could need. Breakfast was good which I ordered through room service.

Stayed in room 101 and completely soaked the bathroom when using the shower so becareful on tiled floor.

Also when we visited the hotel bar prior to going out in the evening the service was poor and we ended up walking out to get a drink elsewhere.

The bonus was the comfy bed and pillows- I could slept for week! We also had a look at the function rooms and liked the look of the lower bar area.

Attended this hotel for our Winter nurses meeting and Christmas party. Lots of parking nearby but it can be pricey £33. Alternatively, I am sure there is allocated parking nearby and if you get one of the reception staff to stamp your card it is reduced to £9 for the 24 hours. The place is full of Beatles memorabilia and of course Beatles music in the background. My room was very nice and spotlessly clean. The view from window dismal but i was hardly in it. Large glass of wine £7.00. The ambience and general structure of the place i loved, it had plenty of character. The staff were very friendly to me, i had a chat with a few about who had stayed there etc. I was going to book the John Lennon room for my husbands birthday so enquired how much. I was amazed when the receptionist said £950 per night. Hey my husband is georgeous, sexy etc but he ain't that that sexy! So instead i've booked us into a countryside hotel where he'll feel more at home with all the farmyard animals. Anyway, this John Lennon room has a grand piano, and you get champagne and a mini bar. I asked if it had a jacuzzi etc but no. The band on in the evening was a tribute Beatles band and i have heard loads of these but these were by far the best. They were brilliant and i did'nt stop dancing and playing my air guitar. Afterwards there was a disco, a bit of a come down, but the youngsters enjoyed that. The food was somewhat of a let down but i was informed that we had the cheaper option, but if the extra went on the band it was worth every penny. Breakfast was very nice. Good hotel in a great location.

Just spent lovely weekend in Liverpool Christmas shopping. Stayed at Hard Days Night Hotel it was very nice. Very central for railway station, shops, entertainment. Room was lovely, food was good and staff very friendly and helpful. A bit noisy at night as it just round the corner from The Cavern Club and nightclubs - go to the Cavern Club and by the time you come out you will not be aware of the noise !!!Will definitely be back.
