“Lovely weekend in Liverpool”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

Just spent lovely weekend in Liverpool Christmas shopping. Stayed at Hard Days Night Hotel it was very nice. Very central for railway station, shops, entertainment. Room was lovely, food was good and staff very friendly and helpful. A bit noisy at night as it just round the corner from The Cavern Club and nightclubs - go to the Cavern Club and by the time you come out you will not be aware of the noise !!!Will definitely be back.

Stayed here for a girls weekend on the 23rd and 24th November 2012 - what a beautiful hotel!
When we pulled up to the door it was beautifully decorated both outside and in for Xmas! The staff were very helpful and polite and check in was painless. A friend had rung ahead and put money on our room bill to pay for some cocktails - which were delicious. A nice touch was a note from said friend in our room, all typed up by reception. Shopping/pubs & clubs are all a stones throw from this hotel and I can't recommend it enough - I will definitely be staying here again (hopefully for another girly weekend in March!!).

Room Tip: Room 513 & 514 are interconnecting if there is a group of you... both have reasonable views of t...

Stayed here as my son is a big Beatles fan and we weren't disappointed, The Hotel is literally 30 yards from the cavern and has décor and rooms that are brilliant for Beatles fans.
The hotel itself is well fitted out with excellent rooms well up to the standard 4 star rating. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had a laugh with some of the guys in the bar.
The only dampeners ( although they weren't that bad) were that the parking is in a public car park (although subsidised by the hotel) and if you get a room facing Matthew's street on a weekend it can be a bit rowdy. I asked to be moved and they moved us straight away.
There are also Tesco and Sainsbury's close by for soft drinks etc.
Liverpool has plenty to offer and I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a nice hotel that is perfectly situated.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing Matthews street

We stayed here for the first time this weekend, although we are regular visiters to Liverpool and have stayed in most of the hotels. What a delight to be met with smiling staff, who obviously enjoy their job and made our stay in this lovely hotel so special. They made it feel very personal to us, whereas in the other hotels we have stayed in, we have just felt like 1 of many passing through. The hotel itself is lovely, all the Beatles memorabilia is done in a very tasteful way so that its not too intrusive, but even if you're not a fan, its very interesting.
Breakfast is made all the better for having "proper" bacon and great sausages! Finally a great atmosphere in the bars, we had a fantastic evening, enjoying the entertainment and the excellent cocktails (perhaps too many of them!). Roy the bar man, very knowledgeable and great at spinning the bottles!
Lovely rooms and bathrooms, and the hotel is beautifully trimmed up for Christmas, if you want to feel special this is the place to stay! We are already planning our next visit.

Room Tip: We stayed in the inside rooms which are quieter.

We have stayed at Hard Day's Night Hotel Liverpool twice and on both occasions have not been disappointed. The renovated building is impressive and rooms are spacious and beautifully kept. The hotel is in easy walking distance of all the sights of which are there are plenty in Liverpool. Food is great and we love the Doorman in his top hat. The stock of photographs from early Beatles which grace walls of the hotel are fantastic. As Beatles fans we love it and will go back again. Liverpool is such a fantasic city and Albert Dock is great for sitting outside one of the bars, coffee shops having a coffee or drink.

I attended a training course today at Hard Day's Night Hotel in Liverpool which went very well. Being in the conference and events industry, I'm always critical of competitor venues but I must praise this venue for their facilities and above all excellent staff and customer service.

Room Tip: Go high up for a quieter time.
