100m from Moorfields station. Beautifully preserved wood, tile and etched glass interior, split into 3 small rooms. Good selection of cask ales and extensive range of scotch whiskies. Not a foodie place - bar snacks only.

Been to this pub a few times, its a decent little pub with good cask lines and a decent range of malt whisky. Never had a problem untill last night visit, I gave a member of staff a tall skinny guy a £20 note for 2 drinks he gave me £3 suttin back when I questioned this he was adamant I gave him a £10 note, now it was early in the night and im far from stupid when it comes to money, I didnt even have a ten pound note on me. Be aware when getting served in this pub because this man is scamming people.

One of liverpools most famous pubs, easy to find, come out of moorfield train station and pub is on corner of Tithebarne street.Open 11am till 11pm monday to sunday, always has a great range of beers and pub food (mostly open sandwiches, baguettes, pork pies).the interior is small but you will be greeted by a 3 roomed pub complimented by a fantastic tiled bar.Always a great atmosphere and friendly warm staff will make for a great drinking experience.

I absolutely hate it when you walk in to a pub and you can smell whatever they've put in the toilets to either clean them or mask another smell. This is an atttractive old pub but the smell was overpowering. I wouldn't go back.

Still class it as my local (used to live 200 yards away) and great selection of good quality ales with very good service.

A proper pub with great interior decoration including the 'dome' in one of the back rooms.

Could waffle on, but basically do yourself a favour and go there and have a pint or ten.
