This hotel is located right in the city center of Liverpool. Staff is very friendly, smiling and accommodating. They seem to enjoy their work. Very high level of cleanliness; both the room and public areas were spotless. I stayed in an 'inside double room' which means no window, however, it did not feel claustrophobic. The design and layout of these rooms are excellent, so I reckon the others (which of course are pricier) are perfectly fine as well. Very comfortable bed, many pillows, quality towels. Interior is modern minimalist style with mostly brown and grey pastel colors. Breakfast is full English (served at table) with juices etc. self service at an additional 6 pounds. Free wifi in room.

All in all a very decent, modern hotel with excellent location and reasonable rates. Recommended for both business and leisure guests, young and old. HOWEVER, one point of critisism - the hotel presents itself (on their website) as a ''luxury designer hotel''. I felt that this is not true. The hotel is not luxury, but more budget type of minimalist (designer if you'd like) hotel. Especially the entrance and lobby (which in fact, is the restaurant) are quite bland and standard. Definitely not luxury. In my room there was no minibar, no hotel booklet stating the facilities, no hair dryer. Breakfast, whilst perfectly acceptable, was lacking fresh fruit or other quality options. I would not make these comments were they portraiting themselves as a budget designer hotel, but they don't. So pls. do not expect a high end luxury hotel and they will definitely tick most boxes.

Brilliant weekend, hotel so central. The bed was so comfortable the pillows lush. Well worth a visit. We visited for the music festival and had 2 great nights in the cavern club. Palm sugar in Liverpool one good place to have a drink and people watch.

Great location for visiting Liverpool. Excellent service, cheerful and helpful. Wine and crackers free on arrival. Sky Sports in your room. For the cheap price the quality of this hotel is excellent.....

Booked a night here on Tuesday as a spur of the moment break. All I can say is fantastic, check in was quick and easy. Room was modern, stylish, comfy bed and contrary to other reviews the socket was next to the mirror (ask for room 614).Handy for women doing their hair but not something I needed. Staff were very helpful when giving directions and advice about where to go. I would be fussy about customer service and think that the staff play a big part in making or breaking a holiday. I must give the staff here 10/10, especially Helen and Rachel. Have paid a lot more for a lesser hotel, will definitely stay here again. Also close to the nightlife in Mathew Street and Liverpool One shopping area.

Room Tip: Ask for room 614 if having a socket beside the mirror is important although you will sacrifice on the view out the window.
