“New Jersey Nights Show”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

The story and songs of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.....I didn't realise they'd written so many fantastic hit songs! The show was brilliant......the four singers all had excellent voices and the 2 hours flew by. We'd definitely go and see this again. Try to catch it somewhere on their tour.

“The Drifters WAS Superb”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Took a visit to Liverpool last weekend to watch the Drifters at the Liverpool Empire Theatre, whilst the theatre was a little how can I put it gently, old? well I wouldn't want a Theatre any different, these modern theatres do not carry the same script ! The show was fantastic everything we read about the show and seen on the internet was fantastic, the tickets and thearte supplementary prices where all reasonable and overall a super visit to a wonderful Liverpool theatre

“Lovely theatre”
Reviewed January 20, 2013 via mobile

Been the empire many times to see a wide variety of shows. Beautiful interior, and have always had a lovely time. Only downside is shows can be very pricey, but good quality performances. Bar prices similar to most theatres, and could do with more toilet facilities but wouldn't want them to ruin nice old interior !

A Panto?????
It's over 10 years since a dear friend asked me to join a group who were going to the theatre!!
A PANTOMIME. not usually my idea of a night out. I've been every year since. I love it.
The theatre has a Panto every year, they have been fantastic. This year it was Jack & the Beanstalk. Great fun.
The cast, some of whom have been in the performances each year. They can all sing, dance, act & are thoroughly entertaining. The Panto has a 'Rock & Roll' theme, it's brilliant.
The show is normally held in the Everyman, super with a central stage, seating around 3 sides. Very intimate. It's has been great to maintain the show but can't wait for the Everyman refurbishment to be completed
The transfer to the Playhouse has allowed the programme to continue.
Thank you for years of fun & entertainment.

“Dolly 9 to 5 musical”
Reviewed January 16, 2013 via mobile

We went to the Liverpool empire to watch 9 to 5 the musical. We were very happy with the service we received from both the box office and the theatre staff.
