Our first visit to Liverpool was made all the more amazing by staying here, Sue the owner is so welcoming and the room was spotless with a very comfy bed and lovely veiw. Super breakfast served in the large stylish dining room.We travelled by bus into the city and the stops are very near the house and this proved to be a quick journey to the centre bus station across from the amazing Albert docks. We would highly reccomend this superb b.

The house is beautifully decorated and spotless. From the second we walked in the door Sue made us feel at home and the bed was supper comfy :-). Great location easy and cheep to get to Liverpool center cost just a few £ in a taxi. Great fresh breakfast in the morn and an excellent brew. Will be my home from home whenever i visit Liverpool.

Room Tip: They all great

I dont do reviews but after staying at the Avenue, id feel bad no too, this was our first time staying at a B&B, and was definitely a good move. The house is very nice and moden, the bedrooms Immaculately clean, located in nice area, not to far from the centre.

Sue is lovelly and couldn't do enough for us. 5 * breakfast in the morning, what more can you ask for.

if you are visiting Liverpool, you cant go wrong staying here.

Sue gave us a really warm welcome and within minutes we felt like she was an old family friend. It was our first visit to Liverpool and Sue gave us all the information we needed. Breakfast was delicious - a cooked breakfast which was tasty and not fatty at all. Sue said it was all down to her halogen oven. What ever it was it was lovely. Rooms were spotless.

We'll definitely stay again. The house looks out over John and Pauls' (as in The Beatles) old playing field and Penny Lane is a 5 minute drive.

Excellent bed and breakfast. We were made so welcome in this beautiful home with lovely rooms and facilities. Breakfast was top notch..... but the best thing about this place is definitely Sue and her warm and welcoming personality. We'll definitely be back.

My mother and I spent one night at the Avenue B&B. We were greeted by Sue, the smiley lady of the house, who immediate put the kettle on and sat us down in her kitchen. We spent hours chatting over breakfast and Sue really made our stay special.
The accommodation is clean, modern and roomy. We stayed on the top floor, in the loft/ family room, which was nicely decorated and spacious.
The breakfast was beautiful and the choices were plenty. The B&B is located 20 seconds away from the bus stop (which comes every 3 mins during peak times) which takes you straight into town (20 min ride or so).
This accomodation is in the heart of Beatles country (Paul lived 5 minutes walk away and Penny Lane is a 10 min walk).
I would highly recommend this B&B for your stay in Liverpool. The host Sue will make your trip come alive with Scouse hospitality and stories of the Beatles.

Room Tip: We were in the loft room which has one double and one single bed\; very spacious and light!

Sue, the owner of the B&B could not have been any more welcoming. After a 7 hour 'stuck in traffic' journey, she kindly offered us tea and biscuits when we arrived. A friendly and interesting lady who always has time for a chat. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. It certainly set us up for the day ahead. Our room was the only one which did not have an en-suite, but the bath and loo were across the landing, and were not used by any of the other guests. This would definitely be our first choice of accommodation in Liverpool. By the way, if you love cats, you'll find Lizzie absolutely adorable!
