Very good check in, and swiftly shown our room. Beautiful hotel - up a hill from main attractions but not far out.

We liked the amenities and the beds were uber soft- a great few days in Liverpool

This hotel is "glamourous", "understated", "immaculate" and provided such attention to detail that it will probably give you one of your best hotel experiences. Well, we stayed in a suite, which was set on two floors - lounge upstairs with the bathroom and bedroom downstairs. The views of Liverpool were amazing, particularly as the sun set against the skyline. The decor is modern but with style and elegance and all the best of equipment (namely the Bang & Oulfsen TV, with movement sensor). We stayed on a Saturday night, but with all the comfort of the suite, the excellent restaurant/bar and choice of free satellite TV plus DVD/CD collection and the list goes on; well, we literally had to force ourselves to venture out into Liverpool. Both myself and my partner had massages in the suite, and then sunk into our Egyptian cotton duvet and time melted away, so much so we had to ask for a late check-out. Being Hope Street, this proved to be no problem as service is excellent, with every member of staff being friendly and helpful. It really does sound "too good to be true", but Hope Street Hotel is literally just that!!!

We have just returned from trip to Liverpool and stayed at the Hope Street Hotel. Really lovely hotel, very elegantly designed and helpful staff. We booked a King Delux Room and was not disappointed. The bed was massive and the room was extremely tasteful. Also restaurant attached to the hotel is worth sampling. Great to go to a hotel that really does look like it looks on the website!

Stayed in Liverpool for one night to take in some culture. Did this at the last minute so availability was limited. However, hit on the Hope and was glad that I did. The hotel is in a good position on a relatively quiet street very close to the Anglican cathedral. Therefore, most of the central sites are within a 10/15 minute walk. The hotel itself is modern and chic. Lots of clean lines and exposed brickwork. We were given a free upgrade to one of the recently refurbished rooms - very nice. The room was a good size and had an enormous bed - lots of high quality Egyptian cotton around. There was plenty of wardrobe space and a large flatscreen TV (terrestial and freeview). The bathroom included an enormous bath, a wet room style shower (with shower head the size of a dinner plate) which meant plenty of space to manoeuvre, lots of potions and large fluffy towels. There were even a couple of comfortable dressing gowns.
I suppose if there is a negative side it is that here form does not follow function and with some things design got in the way of practicality ie no hook on the bathroom door for those robes.
Breakfast was extra and quite pricey - but I guess for us it was practically free if you take into account the upgrade. However, the food was excellent and filling (real freshly squeezed orange juice). Due to the weather and short time we also took an early dinner in the restaurant - good choice, the food was exceptional and very reasonable. we also noted that on returning later that night the restaurant was packed with people most of whom were not residents.
This place is a bit pricey but I'd thoroughly recommend it for a weekend break. Everything was great from start to finish. Oh yes, and the staff, without exception were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous at all times.

This relatively new boutique hotel has just added rooms and facilities on the upper floors and our room was one of the new ones. The room was large and excellently equipped and had a balacony with great views of Hope Street with the Anglican Cathedral at one end and the Roman Catholic Cathedral at the other.. The bathroom, with wet room shower was one of the largest I have seen in a modern hotel.
It is located close enough to the town city centre to be walkable but far enough away to avoid the noise and bustle. There are several good restaurants in the area as well as the hotel's own.
Staff were very friendly and most efficient and anxious to get feedback on the new rooms. Breakfast was excellent quality and quantity but quite pricey.
