It was a last minute booking and it was worth the gamble! We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival (score!) and the reception/restaurant/hotel itself was so full of charm and so unique! I was so delighted to find REN products in the room too! Finding the room was a bit confusing but the quality of the room was well justified in the price you pay. Good selection for breakfast!

Modern hotel in the centre of the town - excellent services.
The restaurant is one of the best in the city.
Nice place for coffee or tea to meet friends.
There is a gym for those interested - nothing special though

Room Tip: All rooms are spacious and the mattress is superb Choose a 210 or 310

Myself and my partner got relocated here on the 14th February due to a fire at The Hard Days Night Hotel. Upon arrival at The Hard Days Night Hotel at 2pm we where passed around like cattle and treated appallingly by Hard Days Night Staff. It was gone 6.30pm when we eventually checked in to Hope Street after a very chaotic day. I would urge everybody reading this to stay away from The Hard Days Night Hotel and pick alternative accommodation instead.

Upon arrival at Hope Street we where checked in very swiftly by a genuinely helpful, kind and professional receptionist. The Hope Street hotel is a very awkward building to navigate around and is full of charm and character, we where given directions to our room and asked if we would like to be personally guided to it.

The suite room offered outstanding views of the city and was extremely spacious. The room included all the creature comforts in the form of two televisions, ipod docks, designer telephones and luxury toiletries. The room offered a studio apartment style layout. This was a much needed break from the bland and corporate image most hotels offer. A beautiful solid wood floor was situated in the sleeping area but the rest of the room had a very tired looking and badly fitted brown coloured carpet, this let the room down and is the reason this isn't a 5 star review.

Upon check out myself and my partner bumped in to the house keeping staff who guided us in the direction of reception, and upon another wrong turn a male member of staff appeared to politely guide us the right way, apparently even he struggles in the maze of corridors! All staff encountered from reception to house keeping are obviously very highly trained taking pride in the customer service offered. I genuinely had the feeling I was a valued guest and my custom appreciated.

The Hope Street hotel benefits from an in house restaurant called The London Carriage works. Due to missing a restaurant reservation caused by the farcical treatment at The Hard Days Night, room serviced was ordered. This represents outstanding value for money and is all locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. This standard of food is extremely rare in many hotels. The freshly prepared breakfast was also of high quality.

The Hope Street hotel offers an exceptional standard of accommodation with superb customer service to match. I will be sure to return here again soon.

I stayed here when performing at The LIverpool Philharmonic on the same street.
I cannot comment about the price , as this was paid directly but the staff where a pleasure to deal with. The room was immaculate & stunning . The breakfast out of this world & I can recomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a stylish bolt hole in a great area.

We have just stayed here. We paid £250 for a Studio Suite directly overlooking a derelict Building just a few feet away - I believe the Hotel has owned this for a while and has future plans for it.
The Room was lovely but £250 is too much even if the Hotel is full and so Rooms are at a premium. One still has to be mindful of delivering value for money, and at this price it is anything but frankly.
We had Drinks in the Bar with friends before going elsewhere for Dinner. Good friendly Service. We returned after Dinner for Coffees.
Breakfast Service is a shambles. You have to queue and it can take ages. Don't sell Rooms if you can't get everyone served their Breakfast in a timely fashion! It's poor Customer Service and more than a bit arrogant actually..........

Spent two nights at the Hope St Hotel last weekend. First of all, the receptionists were very helpful and obliging. Also I would say that both public areas of the hotel and our room were immaculately clean thanks to the excellent housekeeping staff, especially the head housekeeper who was kind enough to show me around other parts of the hotel and give me useful information about its amenities. Breakfast was outstanding, it made a lovely change to have a freshly cooked breakfast served by friendly staff. We will most likely be staying again, as my daughter is studying in Liverpool and we look forward to the hotels expansion which we hear may include a rooftop pool! Fab! Thanks again to all staff!

My girlfriend and I booked one night ( friday) as we were attending a friend's 40th birthday party close to the hotel.
Hotel is stylish,, comfortable, staff are helpful , friendly and efficient.
We arrived mid afternoon, so ate in the bar area. Food was tasty and well presented. Following morning we both ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant. I had the continental, and my partner had a fry up.
Food was excellent, tasty well presented and plent yof choice.
We paid £160 for the friday night, which I think is a tadd over the top ! Maximum worth is £100-£120. In the past we have stayed in the Radisson Blue which costs around £95 a night. Reason we didnt is this hotel is located right at the othe rend of town to where we were going.
Little bit expensive for what is is. Apart from price, a lovely hotel and we would stay there agsin
