For my partner and I, Nando's is often our go to on a special night out. We have always had good experiences with the restaurant, and subsequently have rated it is a higher standard place to eat, saved for date nights or celebrations. On this particular visit, the food was at its usual, great standard, but when it came to ordering desert, we were forgotten about. Time was passing and I was reassuring my partner 'it will come soon' several times, but after half an hour of waiting he approached a staff member who actually looked surprised when presented with our receipt, as if our order had never been put through in the first place. The waitress said she would tell a manager, and when the manager came to the table another 10 minutes later, he did not apologise or even have anything to say, in fact. He placed down our deserts, and then disappeared for another few minutes looking for spoons. I wouldn't have been too phased had we had nowhere to go afterwards, but we were seeing a movie and almost had to just leave as to not miss our film (luckily the Odeon is right next door!). Like stated earlier in the review and in the title, the quality of the food was still excellent, however on this particular night I definitely felt like the staff gave poor service quality.
