“Beautiful place for a stroll”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

What more can I say than this is the perfect place for a stroll as you take in the views around you and across the river. It's nice to sit in the sunshine with an ice cream watching the world go by; or at dusk to check out all the sights such as the Three Graces in the evening light (stunning view!).
Plenty of places to sit and relax, or to stand and take those perfect scenic photographs!

“Pier Head-Perfect Promenade”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

What a beautiful place to take a morning walk or an early evening stroll. It is remarkable how the 'new builds' sit comfortably next to the magnificent splendour of the centuries old structures. The Museum of Liverpool is another remarkable place to visit in the city. On my recent visit to the Pier Head it was lovely to see so many coaches bringing school children who were either visiting the museum or Under Water Street or simply taking a ferry boat ride across the Mersey.Young and old alike brought the place to life-the tour buses were filling up waiting to take the passengers for a 'history lesson' around the city. The statues and monuments can teach us so much about the importance of this city and those who gave their lives whether it be in wars or at sea. A marvellous place full of acknowledgements and memories of the past but also of signs of what's to come and of looking forward with hope to the future. too.

“A nice place”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

When I am in Liverpool I visit the Pier Head almost every day. I enjoy a walk along the river. The area is kept clean and tidy and I enjoy the walk. If you visit Liverpool you must walk to the Pier Head and along the river.
