i have visited many restaurants over the year and found all of them very satisfactory serving delicious chinese food. The Chinese arch is. The gateway to Nelson St and it's a fabulous structure and much adored by the Chinese population. Chinese New Year is especially celebrated with thousands of people gathering to watch the dragon parade. A stone throw away from the Liverpool Cathedral and a few minuets from the City Centre China Town is definitely a place to visit

I used to love visiting Chinatown but in the last few years it's really let itself go. There's barely any restaurants left open and those that are you get treated like a troublesome drunk even if you are just trying to have a quiet meal it's like the staff can't wait to get rid of you. It's sad to say but I won't be bothering going back again until they regenerate the street and open some decent restaurants. its a shame because the arch is impressive and brings tourists to the city.

Great place to visit great atmosphere, some good restaurants along the way. Very old part of the city steeped in history, this a must for tourists to the North West. Capital of culture certainly still applies.
