Liverpool has a great maritime history, so they should be plenty of material for this museum. However, it is mostly a service of model ships, with very little authentic material. Worth a visit, but keep your expectations very modest.

Visited the maritime museum today, found it to be very informative and interesting, definitely worth a visit if you are at the docks . Only downside was the 2nd floor is currently closed so cuts down dramatically what exhibits you can see.

I would just like to say we seen Emma perform in the play about the THE CARPATHIA and we thought she was excellent. We enjoyed it better than some West End Shows we have seen. Well Done museum and also well done Emma on your surberb acting skills! We will definitely be back! Ten out of ten.

Thank you all and best wishes.

We popped in here whilst passing, expecting to pass a small amount of time before lunch but we ended up spending hours here - it is a fantastic museum with so much to see - definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.

Great museum something for all ages here , and enjoyed the slavery exhibits. The second floor was closed for redecoration so didn’t see titanic.
