Really enjoyed the Maritime Museum, seeing Liverpool's history as a trading city was fascinating, as well as the scale-sized models of the Lusitania, Titanic and other shipping giants. The stories behind the crashes and the history is just fantastic, and if you like ship models, you won't be disappointed, the attention to detail is truly brilliant.

This is a very interesting Museum, with beautifrul models, and top information andexhibits. Also if you are related to a Merchant seaman and want to trace them for information on your family tree you will find the Staff their extremely helpful in the archive section. I was trying yo trace my Dad and gave them the name of his ship and within 10 minutes they told me where, when and by whom he was torpedoed during the war also the number of the submarine that fired at his ship, also the date and time that it happened. Fantastic. It is well worth a visit for the location alone there is so much to see in the area.
