“Rude manager”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

I took note of the name of the staff member who was very rude, she made out I was an inconvenience for asking for help and she appeared to have a terrible attitude problem, I later discovered that Katie was the manager of the hotel which disgusted me even more! I would not recommend anyone to stay here and be spoken to in such a vile manner, unfortunately the other staff were lovely which is a shame because I wouldn't want to give her my business ever again!

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights as we were attending a competition in the Echo centre, Hotel was better than what I thought it would be and it was fab for what price we paid. The staff were all really nice and helpful and nice to talk to. The room was small but fitted 3 girls with a lot of bags, the double bed was comfy and the bunk bed was ok, not the best but was able to sleep in. There was a tv in the room and tea and coffee. The only issue was the shower room, it was tiny, reminded me of a cruise cabin toilet, the shower was awful to wash your hair in and the place flooded when using the shower, and it isnt very sound proofed. We had dinner in the hotel, prices were fab and meal was gorg !, we ate breakfast every morning costing 7 quid something for a full English breakfast you got loads of your plate and could also choose food from the continental buffet. There was free WIFI in the hotel too and the Echo centre and shopping centre is a 10 minute walk.

I will stay here again as it was an enjoyable stay ! :)

My room was on the first floor overlooking the docks which was great. The staff are very friendly and the hotel clean and the food reasonably priced and quite good value. My room was basic but clean - the 'pod' bathroom was slightly claustophobic but clean. Free parking and free wifi. Close to amenities and China Town! Would be happy to stay there again

Room Tip: I wouldn't like a room on the ground floor due to worrying about having the window open also a r...

Great location. Clean and functional with very nice staff.
Breakfast was great and for the price, one of the best I've had in a hotel.

Room was very basic but could sleep 3 for the £45 price which was excellent.

check in at this hotel is quick and efficent. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Any problems are dealt with immediately and followed up to make sure everything about your stay is agreeable. The food is well cooked and plentiful and the continental breakfast has lots of choice. i am working in liverpool at the moment and have booked for the remainder of my contract. I would recommend this hotel for business guests and familys.

Room Tip: there isnt a lift so if you have mobility problems ask for one of the many groundfloor rooms.

We stayed for 4 nights in June. We booked online at an excellent price of £156 for the room. We read the reviews and when we arrived it was just as expected. The room was small, very clean with white walls and a view over the river. The room reminded us of a cabin on a cruise ship especially the bathroom which was very small but manageable. The room was very cosy so we were glad that the window opened. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but eat in the evening three times. The restaurant was very pleasant overlooking the river and a very good choice of meals or snacks until 10pm. There is a free car park for the hotel patrons. It is a 15 mins walk to the Albert Dock and City centre .the staff are all very pleasant and extremely helpful. We would recommend staying there if you want value for money for a short stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view.
