“Suited us perfectly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

Stayed here for one night this Monday (15th April) before catching a flight to Berlin the next evening. We visited the Beatles story whilst there which was close by. The bathroom was a little on the small side but very clean. The downstairs bar area was nice and the breakfast was lovely, cooked to order and good quality. Staff were a little bit short with us but they were probably just busy. Would stay again.

This hotel is located in queens dock, a very nice environment. The staff was very helpful and friendly, just ask them anything and they will do their vey best to help you. The restaurant had a nice view over the river.
Breakfast was avarege.
Walking distance to the city center, a nice walk next to the docks. Very nice indeed.
Clean rooms with new towels every morning.

The hotel room itself was pretty bog standard, nothing special but the hotel is relatively cheap so I didn't expect much, having said that - Premier Inn is cheaper than this and of a MUCH better standard.

The bathroom was absolutely tiny, and the shower was just ridiculous. The shower keeps turning itself off due to faulty controls on it and it was just tiny, the cold, cheap shower-curtain touches you throughout your use of the shower.

The worst part of my stay at this hotel though was that on TWO separate occasions people tried to enter my room after being told by the reception staff that their room number was the same as mine. I can't begin to tell you how much this disturbs your stay, particularly since one of these 'visits' was extremely early in the morning. Made worse by the fact that I was kept up late by other noisy guests that were waking me up all night due to thin walls and doors.

Finally, there was a third time where someone tried to enter the room - this time they were successful. The cleaner, uninvited entered my room without knocking - while I was fully naked. The nail in the coffin.

I won't be staying here again and I won't recommend it to anyone else; quite the contrary in fact. For the same price (or cheaper) you can stay at other hotels which are of a much better standard on all fronts. Don't stay here.

Room Tip: Don't have a room anywhere near the stairs as you will hear everybody come and go all night. May...

After traveling from Belfast to Glasgow on Saturday morning we got the train down to Liverpool on Saturday night. Arriving at the hotel tired we just wanted to get our room and get the head down. The young lady on reception was a bit grumpy looking but it being late that was understandable. However the welcome we got consisted of a lecture.. If we made noise we would be thrown out. If we were caught smoking we would be fined£50 and thrown out. This is not the way to greet people if you want repeat bookings. I certainly won't be back. Rooms were very basic but fairly clean. Free wifi too but they really need to train their staff to treat people as guests and not like yobs.

Room Tip: Stay clear. Desk staff are rude and threatening.

Hotel is based in Kings Dock, a short walk from Albert Dock and around a 15 minute walk into the town and Liverpool 1 shops. The hotel sits on the dockside - there are tables and chairs outside which would be nice in the summer, and large patio doors from the restaurant, where you can watch the rowers from the boating club. The hotel is basic, warm, comfortable and clean. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a short stay, then this hotel is ideal.

Went for a short break. Arrived early and was able to check in before time. Greeted by very friendly staff. Room is small but it was immaculately clean. Facilities were very adequate for us and location was excellent! I couldn't complain about any part of our stay. Excellent value for money. Would def book again
