“Great hotel at a Budget price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012

If your looking for a hotel at a reasonable price? The Dolby is for you! My wife & I plus friends stayed here for three nights. The rooms are spotless, en-suite a bit small, but if you want a place to lay your head at night and just use te hotel as a base, then I can't fault the Dolby. The staff are all very helpfull and pleasant with a smile on their faces, nothing is to much trouble for them. Also the meals and breakfasts are lovely at a great price! My wife, friends & I will be certainly making a return trip! Also all the sights e.g Cavern, Albert dock, Liverpool 1 are all in walking distance.

This hotel was ideal for our one night stay when we travelled to Liverpool to attend a football match. Rooms although not too big were clean and comfortable enough. Staff were very welcoming and the breakfast in the morning was very good. Very near to town centre and nicely situated on the waterfront..Bathroom was quite small but as we were only there for one night didnt matter. Overall good hotel for the price

The only real drawback with this hotel is the size of the room and bathroom. I have stayed in larger caravans. However, it has lots of amenities (comfortable matress, Freebies TV, Tea/Coffee etc) and is located close to Echo Arena, Albert Dock and Central Liverpool. Very cheap and therefore, good value.

Room Tip: Ask if they have any rooms with a bath (which must make them larger).

Although the location is great, has free parking lovely staff and price was good- the rooms let it down, in particular the bathroom. Tiny isnt in it. I didnt even feel like i showered as it was so small and the water trickeled out.
The food in the resturant was good and well priced but it took 45 mins from ordering and there was only 4 other tables occupied.

Had an over night stop at Dolby Hotel, excellent all round hotel. Rooms were very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful and food and drink were not expensive. Certainly going to stop again. Very good value for money.

Stayed at the Dolby with a couple of mates for a girls weekend away. Was pretty last minute and was the only hotel we could get at a decent price. The three of us stayed in same room for 2 nights for £126 in total ... So you get what you pay for. A small room, even smaller bathroom but did the job. Was a double bed and an amusing bunk bed over the top of the double, which I had the pleasure of having. Was warm and comfy, just a little awkward going to loo in middle of night! If you just want somewhere to shower and sleep, then you can't go wrong.
